Not sure if Jay is still in the 'boro. But I think he has a system from Mark Craig--in Nashville.

I think Steve has 4-inch too--and he's within a couple of miles.

Cheryl will have a 4-inch tomorrow afternoon, but it's a 12v and it's a modified exhaust.

4 is good, I went 5 and 5 stacked-MMMMMMMMMMMMMMgood. :D

But really the straight 5 stacked is a bit much. The under truck 5 is a tad mellow. :-laf

Mark at Diesel Performance Parts- 866-455-7788, 615-251-1250. He sell the stuff so don't believe a word. ;)

Nope I was with Jay when he got his system. It was @ Thunder In Muncie in '04 when the whole Lebanon gang went as a group. Its a stainless steel exhaust system, but I can't remember for the life of me which brand it is. :(

Not sure if Steve has a 4" or not.

If I was going to buy a new 4" system it would be from Rip Rook. www.sourceautomotive. biz He has the best price around!

I'll call you soon and we can discuss the sport lights Wade, I want them but finances are a little tight. DON'T SELL THEM! ;)

Both Jay and Steve have MBRP systems. I'm pretty sure Jay bought his from Mark Craig (DPP) at TiM in 2004. I don't know who Steve bought his from.

I've also got a 4" MBRP system and look at it now as a waste of money. I'm not crazy about the muffler and if you're ever going to change to a B-1 or HX40 style downpipe, you've defeated the purpose of having a nice, pretty stainless steel exhaust system. And stainless steel is pointless in Tennessee.

Also, MBRP has crappy customer service. My system has a bad drone at 1800 RPM and up and they pretty much ignored my problem even though I knew people that different mufflers sent to them by MBRP in an effort to correct their drone problem.

I'm with Mark on Rip's system. It's an alumunized system at a great price and I've never heard anyone complain about it. I wish I had gone that route. You can also save a few bucks and order it without a muffler if you wanted to do a straight pipe.

Ken, I live off Hwy 96W and Brinkley Road which I beleive is real close to you.

I am only available in the mornings through the week. Call me and we will work a time out. I do have the MBRP and have been very happy with it.

I do have the 409 S/S MBRP 4" exhaust from Mark Craig. Did buy it at TiM in '04. It does have a little drone but does not bother me. Overall, been pleased with the system.

I am in the 'Boro, LaVergne, and Nashville these days. You are welcome to listen and drive my truck anytime. Send me a PM.

The regular Gun season for pointy-heady, beady-eyed, white-tailed, split-toed deers opens this Saturday at 30 minutes before sunrise. WX looks good. If'n somebody needs a lil' spot to hunt and is safe with a rifle, then I'll invite you out. I have a "deer camp" with water/electricity/wood heat. It also has a card table and some drinks in the fridge. We can distribute some playing cards and wager on who has the best hand. ;) ;) ;)

Holler, hell, if you just want to play cards and don't mind dragging a few deer out--you can sleep in, we'll come and get you after the shooting.

ONE HOUR.

We're going to get Cheryl's truck in an hour. She's giddy. She's the coolest wife I EVER had!!!. :-laf :-laf

Wade,

Andy has one in his truck, that I plan to copy and regrind a stocker to put into Ol smokey. See if it'll help get the turbo to lite better. Although I don't think it will help much.

DO any of yall in Murfreesboro know which one of these following hotels would be a good one to stay at in Jan. for the truck pull. Need one that has room for trailers. I heard the Double Tree had a parking lot across the street that might work. I think they may be running out of rooms though. Also are these close to the TN. Miller Coliseum at MTSU? Thanks for the help.

Hey Mike,

Somebody more current on the 'boro might correct me but here's what I remember.

All of the hotels are going to be out by interstate. Parking is a good question to ask. I'm not sure, but the traffic is worse for the ones off exit 78. There's a truck stop and and a couple of hotels off exit 81 and it's easier to get to MTSU main campus. Get me an address for the location. It may be out on the north side of town--if so, you want 840-and exit 78 hotel

Danm, that waddn't much help. :p

Well, I don't have much indoor sleeping space- but I've got a field or woods to park and camp in,

Electric and Water hookup here at shop-no charge

no hookups in field or woods-still no charge. :-laf

Wade,

I think I have got some rooms at the double tree. Not sure where it is or which exit. The pull is not on the campus, It is the TN Miller Coliseum. Go to Southernmotorsports.net. that is where the motel info came from. there is also a link to the coliseum site. That might help

Thanks

Hey does anybody know, or can anybody get, the number to the CB Shop at exit 163 I-40? It's the one across from the Shell station on Highway 48.

I never can keep up with their number.
