Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

I've been lazing around... nothing much to say. doubtful you run anybody off Scott ;) hehe.

Paul, last deer I had processed was a couple years ago. I had him made up all Jerky. Cost $1/lb... FIELD DRESSED and no hoofs!!! He weighed in at a buck and a quarter. I imagine if you just had regular processing, it'd be about half that. I'm sure you've got her somewhere by now, or blocked out or something. Too hot to lay one out on a tin roof overnight... . ahhhhh hog killin time is near. mmmmmmmmmm.

Oh yeah, I did a lift pump volume test today and she filled up a 2 liter bottle in about 10-12 seconds. I'd wager that my lift pump is in proper working order. :-laf

Santa Came a Little Bit Early

Mid-TN Gang, hope you all had a great Turkey day.

I got back to work and they are making more work for us, this is our new 2007 G56 equipped SLT, purchased by Perfection Clutch. We will be developing a solid flywheel system for this truck and checking out what makes it tick.

Ho Ho Ho a little bit early!

gi me gi me gi me, i want the old clutch and fly wheel, seats and rear bumper.

if you can spare the tail gate that would be great :-laf

Well, since it looks like this will be a parts truck, could I just have the whole engine out of it? :p

Please? :)

Ouch!

Come on you guys, play nice, I already put in my dibs for the alloy wheels, and believe me, I don't think the old clutch system would be an upgrade for anybody that runs in the Mid-TN gang, you guys make too much TQ! Now, what we get to figure our this winter is which system we will use to void the warranty with, you guys with 3rd Gen experience are free to chime in with suggestions or no way! don't do that. We will be dressing it up a bit I'm sure.

Joe if you got a new piece of sheet metal, wouldn't Wade be jealous, and don't you need front end parts from that 13 pointer rather than a tailgate?

Ain't this fun!

Don't know if you guys know, but they bought us a 97 F350 7. 3L 4X4 for playing and experimenting with, Perfection now owns 3 Diesels, 97 Ram 3500, 97 F350, 07 Ram 2500, and I have my 05 Ram 2500.

The smarty makes wicked HP/TQ on the late model 3rd gens. I actually saw Meacham giggle when talking about it. If it makes the Captain giggle, it's got to be good!!

Hey, does anyone see any reason why I can't run a 285/75 on my 6. 5" steelies? I really want bigger than the 265/75's, but don't want to have to lift the truck.

I just ordered by Bilsteins, and am probably going to have to replace some other steering components up front. It wanders from one end of the road to the other. Pump/gear may also be bad. :(

Our company just went private, and they bought out my measly few shares of stock... gonna invest in a straight driving great riding truck...

Well, after 2 trips of seeing nothing, the boy gets a big doe. I got pics on my camera, can't figure out how to post

What's a good processer cost these days? I'm getting too old to stand all day over a cutting table

Congrats on getting a deer the old fashioned way. New processer out by me gets $55 for standard cut, $50 for all ground and whole backstrips--the way I get mine. I take the tenderloin out when I dress it. ;)

Location of KAC Processing is five miles south of Woodbury, turn left on 281 (Iconium Rd) then about 2 miles on the left. They doos good work.

Put A TST PMCR with built in Rail Pressure on it, if thats not enough, combo that with a smarty and or some injectors, should haul A#$.....

... and SKEEE-POW goes the stock turbo!!! :-laf

The turbine parts are easy to clean up after that... it's that pesky compressor wheel shrapnel that you gotta pick/scrape off everything. :p

I have not been around a 3rd Gen Smarty but the HP/TQ figures make me want a new truck! I have been trying to get my brother to get one for his 2006 Mega Cab but he says "it's got enough power"! :-laf :-laf :-laf Marco is for real! His HP/TQ numbers are very conservative. All the 3rd gen numbers were made with otherwise stock trucks. (Except for transmission mods) A good 3rd gen recipe would be Smarty, Modded CP3, DON M Injectors, Twins, and enjoy the streetable 600 plus HP!!

So when and where are we getting together?

Looking forward to the Jan. indoor pull in M'boro!!! Oo.

Santa's getting his list.

OK, lots of ideas, and Andy says it ain't right till the turbo takes a dump. Don't forget we get to do a little to the outside while we are cranking it up! But first and foremost is create a system that needs the capabilities of a solid flywheel and a ZVT system.

Keep it coming!

The Pres. took it for a spin list night, I will chat with him later.

Kilt a couple of them does yestiddy. Still eating tenderloins. :p

Okay that DOES it. Meeting at the M'boro Pull one of the two nights. Well, I'll be there both nights. They sell beer there you know. I saw the sign the other day--anybody know the details?

Which night do you wanna make it an official meeting?--and please consider any bidness we want to conduct. ;)

And then Bean is talking about having Dunbar back in late April. I think I'll be running both 12v's this time. Greenie was kinda weak last time and has a different turbo now. Big Red hasn't been on the rollers yet---ohmigosh what if she has more power?!!! (who has some big 12v injectors to loan?) :-laf

So now I'm closing up shop and putting an axle seal in Big Red. These here full floater are cool. Never had to fool with one before. Bearing wasn't properly adjusted--but then that's been par for this one.

As they said in Outdoors with TK and Mike "Getcher self a Biggun!"

I'm looking forward to that pull. I'm having withdrawls already. :{

Gary first thing I would do is upgrade the lift pump, 1 pressure box or timing/duration and its gonna suck line pressure close to zero, should hover around 1 to 2 psi, add any other power box and it'll start missing BAD under WOT, the G-56's will stand just a tid bit more power at the wheels than the nv-5600, maybe the dual mass flywheel, maybe I dunno, maybe I jus full of S!#T, just kidding, not sure why, but everybody says this about that transmission/clutch setup, my nephew has an '05 running 2 power boxes, pressure-timing/duration, turns the TST to stock turbo see-ya specs, and hasn't slipped it yet, its the 42 psi thats worrys me, biggest thing is feeding the CP-3, then do the exhaust, remember its already 4", just take the cat pipe off, cut ya a window in the top of it, bust out the BS, weld window back, reinstall, I done a few of these like that, DPP in Nashville has a muffler eliminator pipe very resonable, better than Geno's, then you will have it sounding like a real truck, add ya a nice filter kit, I like the AFE stage 2's, kinda high but are nice piece's, then you have the stage set, and Gauges well thats a given. Just my 2c, I've had the pleasure to play with my own truck as well as several friends and family members 3rd Gens
