Man I went out to see Anthony today at Kile International. They had the new International ProStar on display with a bunch of Intl reps. That's one SLICK Mo-Fo. We got to crawl all over the truck and eng compartment. The transmission is a manual, but is computer controlled like an automatic. International guys were cool too. They made us (me and a co-worker) take a hat and some swag. :)

Also got to crawl around that CXT again. Nifty "little" booger too.

Thanks Anthony. Y'all got some cool stuff rolling around out there.

Glad you stopped by. They had been talking about having some people over, but it was bigger than what I was expecting.

Mark,

Is that an old picture in the truck name thread, or have you went back to stock rims and tires?

Anthony

Those are the rims that Jay Sykes has now, and I wish I had the $$$ lying around to buy them back. I'm about ready to pay my cousin for the one rim he bought to make a matching set of those mickey thompsons and mud brutes I've got in my parents basement.

Here's a pic of its current state, only much much dirtier. :(

Hey guys i need to find a set of cablight lenses to do some experimenting with. The bee hive style. It dont matter if they are scratched up or "foggy looking". I've checked the local junk yards and they don't have any. Thanks

No Mark i am going to paint them pink. So when i keep the "Trophy" in Lafayette this year, you can tell every body you got beat by a turd brown truck w/pink cab lights! :-laf

No really im gonna try the smoked lenses. Ive tried it on a bronco II lights, but they are a different color amber. I just figured it would be best to get an extra set to mess with.

Guess I'll see you in Lay-Flat Ash! ;) :-laf Hopefully I'll be doing some upgrading after tax return time.

Let me know how it works out I want to try it eventually too... . although it probably won't look as cool on a truck with no paint on top of the cab and peeling off the hood.

hey Andy

How would that edge juice work with setup in my signature, and would you be interested in doing some trading, after all it is christmas and cash is kinda low at the moment.

I took a buddy to see it and he bought it. His wife liked it because of the red paint and auto trans. The truck was in decent shape except for the tires.

Glad to know I finally helped them sell it! I've had it advertised on KYDTR & TDR for the last 3-4 months trying to help them sell it. I used to work with the guys wife for a few years, and I'm good friends with their oldest daughter. They are really nice folks, and that truck was a really good buy. Wish we could have got it for my wife. :(

Eddie, your set up is ripe for a TST box. The edge box would be kinda a waste on your truck. It's got gauges and crap that you've already got. No since in paying for what you've already paid for.

I ordered one for a 98. 5-2000, and got one for a 2002. I HOPE they're shipping me the right one. I bought it for $615 shipped, and if I have to pay to ship it back, I'd rather pass it on to someone else for $600. Don't NEED to do that, but $615 was a pretty killer price, and I thought if anyone wanted it, I'd pass it along instead of sending it back.

Hey Jay,

What about them wheels? :)

I don't really care which... I'll just throw in a vote for the 20'th.

Check out my ultra-custom-one-off high idle solution!! Screwdriver operated. :-laf

Weld a quarter to it and you won't need the screwdriver... . but you'd better lock your doors around this bunch. :p

20th is good for me. Until she tells me otherwise.

I won't be able to make it on the 20th, but I can't say 100% that I could make it on the 6th either. It all depends if I'm in Memphis or Hohenwald on the 6th. If I'm still in Hohenwald I'll definitely be there.

I'm just one guy though - if the 20th works better for the rest of you that's what you need to do.

I got an old plastic knob with a metal threaded insert around here somewhere that I can sacrifice to the high-idle cause. . I figured I'd weld it to the bolt. It's cheaper than a quarter LOL.

The truck is in better shape than I originaly thought. The only thing we have found bad is the front axle u joint and they told us about that. Some play in the track bar and drag link but not bad enough to replace. With better tires it now drives good. We slid the stock plate forward for a little more power. I don't understand why it didn't sell sooner.
