Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

Congradution to Justin on the birth of Ames Bryant. I saw him yesterday and can see him behind the wheel of a red 3rd gen. Also congradution to Joe Underwood for winning the pull at pull Bedford Co Fair, last week. Thanks Joe for the hanging around to saw my pull. Barry made a good pull also. Bean had some trouble but didn't brake anything. Bean I heard it turn out different last week, so congras. I had some fun pulling myself, but got beat by a 3rd gen. I didn't feel to bad about that.

Went to pull in Hillsboro Friday night. Pretty good pull. MTPA has a pretty good following in the diesel truck series . Seems like there was a 2nd gen 24v, 2nd gen 12v, 3 Duramaxes, one sick liter ford, a 7. 3, and of course the 2 Fummins trucks. One that runs like a scalded dog and one that barely runs. Pretty good pull, Stoner cleaned up first again, and the 12v took second .

hot hot hot

congrats on the new baby justin, we found out fri. we are going to have another girl in our family by the end of the year. not much to report on other than just trying to beat the heat.

joe

Congratulations on the new boy Justin! He looks like a keeper.

Thanks Scott, yeah I think we'll keep him. He is a good one thats for sure.

Oh and that picture, it really is scary what you see on the interstate sometimes. if that was me, DOT would probably pull me over before I left the county, much left the state. I know one thing, I bet them horses are hot!

Congrats on your good news as well Joe. Hope all continues to go well.

Stuck clutch

Hey, i just want to give a big thanks to Joe Underwood. While i was in Ohio thursday i stuck the clutch on my truck while doing a short burnout:rolleyes::rolleyes:. I called Joe, and with his help we were able to unstick it and be able to tow the car and trailer back home. Always nice to have someone to call for advice. Randy:):)

Absolutely. I have several numbers in the phone that might be handy for situations like that.

Stuck which way? Engaged or disengaged? That's how I learned to shift clutchless at 16 or 17. Never mind how, but I broke a motor mount and the clutch rod came off the release lever--so stuck engaged. After a stall out or two, I figgered out how to start/stop and the easy part-shift on the fly. Oh yeah, this was pre cell-phones and internet and the other 16yo boys didn't know any more about it than I did. :-laf

I had the disc stick to the flywheel. We ended up putting the truck in 4 hi. and the trans in 4th and while the clutch pedal was depessed we pulled it with another truck. It only moved about a foot and popped realy loud. Then everything felt fine again. Maybe it stuck because we had just towed 400 miles, and everything was still hot. Randy

glad you got it going randy.

what about the pull wade?

joe

Heckadiddles, I didn't go. Bean has his truck down and Mike Bean and Bean stayed up all night playing with the dyno--until a tire blew. So they weren't going.

I called Steve P and got no answer, so I listened to the pull from here. Them gassers are loud. :-laf

Oh, and I had some other activities going on here at the house too. ;) But I would have worked around that if I thought some pullers were going to be there. :D

Hain't talked to nobody yet about who actually did pull.

So I saw the damage to Mike's truck. It's the camo painted ford with fancy bumpers and common rail. Anyhoo, the fender behind the wheel is wiped on the rear. That's dyno damage. Yeah, it rolled a big number--well almost.

See here, Bean got a dyno for the shop. And brother Bean has a hot rod Cummins-powered truck (for all yall what ain't paying real good attention). :-laf

And Bean's truck is apart. So they run the camo truck. I hear it was hard to see up there. :D It rolled x99. Act interested and I'll fill you in. So they spent the rest of the night looking for 1hp. They looked low. They looked high. They looked in the middle. They looked outward, they looked inward.

One horsepower wasn't to be found.

Well, it might have been-found that is. If on the thirteenhundreth pull the tire hadn't gone awry.

Tha's how Mike got the dingy in his truck.

Hummmmm, I will offer my guess??

Lets see, I got to check it out alittle the day of Beans' open house.

6. 7 block---5. 9 head===dual CP3's===big twin turbo's,====probably big F1 injectors===maybe a little H20===Probably Smarty===Probably Pressure box

Survey says 699HP
