Saw some fuel in my neck of the woods at the Eagleville CO-OP for 3. 99. Didnt think Id see that number again. Maybe when it gets to 2. 99 things will be a little more lively around here!!

Hey Scott, do you know what the rules are going to be for the Springfield Tn. pull Aug. 28th ? I talked to Phil Baker, and he said he was not in charge of the pull this time. Can't decide which pull to go to.

Ya'll probably wouldn't have recognized my truck if you showed tonight Columbia. It was washed!!!



Good hooking. . The Bandit got First Place (as usual) in the 7200 and 8200lb classes. Great hooking, truck launched hard, very aggressive. I was impressed! Ol Smokey is gonna have to go to the shop if I want to play with him anymore



Ol Smokey got drug out of retirement and made the famous sweep in the little girl 6200lb class. Butter Bean coasted her in to a first place. Truck was slow out the whole as usual. I know, I know, get a looser TC.



Still managed a 3rd in the 7200 class with a floor board and passenger seat full of blue weight that say the "ford" dirty word on them



Great night, ya'll missed some good hook'n. I even entertain in the 2wd drive class against a pink truck driven by an 11 yr old girl. She pulled 257ft. I pulled 258... inches! It was great, turbo wouldn't light up on the high side with that sled behind her. We felt real stupid afterwards with King Joe's bright idea of "why didn't you unplugged the vaccuum lines on the front axle"... we all said "duh!"



Thanks to a Acook our official Crew Chiel (Pit Boss). His help was much appreciate as always! Large Father, Where you at?? Anthony done stole your title!



It was fun. Bedtime for us old guys...

I'll tell you what... ... . I ain't never been so let down in my life. EVERYBODY ALWAYS goes to the Springfield pull. It was last night. So I tell the kids "Lets go to the fair, ride some rides, then Mama can come get you and I'll get to stay for the truck pull with all my BUDDIES". They jumped jumped up and down cheering and dancing around like Snoopy. So I call my old buddy Joe a little after 3:00 to see what time he's coming and low and behold, he ain't coming! EVERYBODY'S going to Columbia!



Me and the kid's had a good time at the fair but I didn't watch one pull, I was so bummed.



Congrats to everybody on the good showing in COLUMBIA.



Dickson pull's next Thursday and you know EVERYBODY ALWAYS goes to the Dickson pull... ... ... ... ... ...

Whats the details on the Dickson pull?? Congrats to Joe on the big wins in multiple classes, and good job Slapper on dusting off Ol Smokey and showing em how its done. Dont feel bad Scott, I seem to always miss the good pulls. I didnt even know about the Columbia pull, and it aint even that far from the house!!

Has anyone heard anything about Meacham's motor being down?

There in a good thread on Comp D about it in the Drag section. Said that fuel returns dumped fuel in crankcase and spun a main. Very cool video of his run before the carnage. That thing comes off the line like nothing Ive ever seen!! Hate that Meachams had more trouble but i guess at that kind of power level, its going to be something all the time. Cant wait to see the beast in action one day.

Robert, that's out of line. I've tried to stay out of you all's spat but I've had enough. In case you haven't noticed, this forum is about friendships and having fun with diesel trucks and I for one am not going to sit by and let you disrupt MY time that I spend on this website. Joe is one of my best friends and I would love to be able to work with him. My post was in jest and I'll not stand by and let you twist it into something else.

It is never wise to bite the hand that once fed you. But i guess that is a lesson that is learned with age and with age comes wisdom and the common sense to treat others with respect and probably a little on how not to be a spoiled sport either.

You dont know whose talking but posting what you did and not expecting a response is crazy. There is 10 different people that talk under this name so how do you know who you are talking too? Until you work there you don't know what in the hell is going on. Leave Barry out of this. Barry has been nothing but nice to all of you and you do nothing but spit on him. All you talk about is how Joe got first and you got third, but who got second? You won't ever bring that up. Talk about disrespect. That is calling the kettle black. If it wasn't for Haisleys and Joe's ex employees that truck wouldn't be what it is right now.
