Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

Where's this valley thing?

Smokin Up the Valley!

2nd Annual Dyno Day

Josh Watson of Diesel Den Performance along with John Simmons of Simmons Diesel are hosting the Dunbar Dyno for a full day of dynoing.

Last year we had about 26 trucks to dyno and lots more just there having a good time. We hope this year will be even bigger.

It will be located same place it was last year right off of I-75 Exit 68 in Philadelphia TN. Just 25 minutes below Knoxville and about 45 minutes above Chattanooga. As soon as you get off the interstate it will be right there infront of the BP... really the only thing around. So no need to worry about disturbing the neighbors or other businesses.

Should be some good food, good times, good people and damn good trucks.

Prizes for high horsepower on the rollers and also prizes to be raffled.

$75 gets you 3 pulls on the dyno.

Last year's high HP was in the 700's

Could be more this year!Oo.

Sounds like a good setup. We had a 700+ truck at Bean's event with Dunbar this year--from east TN. Don't remember the name-it was a dark 3rd gen with under truck exhaust--a real sleeper. But now we have a couple on the fat side of 750. Dunbar rocks.

Hope ya'll have a good turnout. WX is great for everything just now.

Smokin in the Valley, eh!

Dunbar, Batterson and their Dyno trying to break your truck!

Josh Watson, Diesel Den Performance, formerly known as MHDCDP (My Hood Don't Close Diesel Performance, too much stuff under the hood, no more room, just leave it off Josh!) charter member of the NV4500 Shaft Breakers Anonymous.

Should be a great time, you guys be nice when the Sheriff shows up. I'll take a look at the calendar, no promises right now.

There are actually two events. One is Smokin in the Valley and the other is Rally in the Valley put on by the TDR Dodgers chapter. The Rally in the Valley is usually toward the end of October at Don's Diesel Performance in Surgoinsville,TN, about 20 minutes below Kingsport TN. I still haven't found the date yet.

But i just hope he doesnt play with any fire befor this dyno day gets here. Tell your diesel buddys around there they need to make the trip. Hope itll be a goodun this year

AWard,

The '97 is doing great, I even get to drive it once in a while. I don't know how we did it, but from our KDP repair, we have not gone back and fixed anything more than a boost leak and thats after having parts scattered throughout the garage for over a month. I might have got skunked on replacing the steering gear, I don't really think the new one is significantly tighter than the old one, might be time to try Geno's steering fix. The pending big nasty is a leaking heater core (bypassed) and a cracked dash, ugh!

I bet Josh learned plenty.

Update on the prizes to be won at dyno day.

2, $250 Gift Certificates from South Bend Clutch

1, $250 Gift Certificate from Dynomite Diesel Performance

and another gift certificate from DPPI

Go Go Go! And Hava Good Time!

My trucks have too many bandaids and repairs on schedule. And I'm flirting with the IRS this weekend and a yardsale next. beers.

Well guys I made it back from South Dakota and I finally got me one. He's not one of the monsters I saw from time to time, but I was pleased with him. Tough huntin out there, they only had two frost while I was out there as the grass was greener than it was here. They were just starting to harvest beans, and the corn was probably a couple of weeks out. Strange weather out there for Oct. , kind of like TN now that I think about it.

Cool Pics, that will help get the rest of us in the mood. I just sewed a half acre food plot last week, i guess it will be next spring before it does any good. Randy

Hey guys... ... long time no see..... its ol "Got Smoke?" posting under Ashley's name (thanks Ash!!) I let my account guy a few months back. Still see Joe, Anthony, and Scott at some pulls though!

Anyhow just wondering if anyone can tell me what's wrong with this pic?

Oh..... and so your not guessing... ... this was the problem..... thank God I decided to upgrade before the 25th!!! That woulda been horrible to tach up 4500 or better on the starting line to destroy the motor!

Everybody come see us on the 25th!! Good Lord willing mine will be back together, upgraded, and ON THE TRACK!Oo.

I was going to offer that the compression might be low... on every cylinder. :-laf

Nice buck Mr. Bryant--them little ones eat better. ;) I didn't go to the woods last year. I will this year. Getting hongry. I did peep out the window several times--sometimes I catch one on the back lot and shoot it for trespassing. Going to deer camp opening weekend in Maury, then I'll patrol my spot up here. Will bag some does fer sure and maybe a hatrack if I see one. Good huntin' to everybody. Was on the lake yesterday and the water is FINE-72f and looks like there's fish in there somewhere. I'll take some jugs out there and see in a week or two.

yardsale: . 5 carat round diamond solitaire mounted in white gold-$2015 appraisal (stone only)--want $1000 for it. It's top quality and gotsa go.

Tacsavage, I believe the "Rally in the Valley" is this Saturday, the 18th, at Don's Truck and Tractor Repair in Surgoinsville, TN.

Anything going on around here this weekend? Any pulls, meets, or anything like that this weekend? Just wondering. Finally got a weekend off and here in Nashville for the weekend and seeing if I got lucky enough to catch something this weekend. My last weekend off I caught the pull up in Springfield back in June so hoping I can catch something again.

And I know I'm definitely liking our fuel prices around here. Ran down to Columbia yesterday and the Pilot (or Love's can't remember which one it is there) at 412 and 65 had diesel for $3. 38. Haven't seen it much cheaper anywhere else in the country lately actually.

There's a big benefit pull up in Kentucky Saturday. Joe and some of us are going up there. Should be a good pull with lots of good trucks.

Scott
