Hey there, seen a truck today and not sure if it was anyone from here or not. I was having dinner up at Olive Garden in Rivergate and seen a red 2nd gen quad cab long bed pull through the lot. It was parked out on the grass at Logans on the corner when I left. I had my truck up there parked outside of Olive Garden while we were having dinner. Was gonna stop and take a look but I'm just slightly busy with our Monster Jam racing season in full swing right now and had to get back to the shop to finish putting stuff back together. Just wondering if it was someone from here or not.

My boss has the same exact truck as you but i think it's a 94' and only has 30,000 miles, great work truck. His transmission is weird though because it goes L-1-2-3-O-R and it has a solid axle but is 2wd just like yours. I guess cab trucks came like this?

Hey, what are yall not doing here?! HNY.

Got a buddy looking at that 99 with dual-disc and stuff (all the good stuff) on Ebay. It's from Glasgow, anybody know that thruck? We're meeting the guy in Nashville to look it over on Saturday.

We are just trying to stay warm up here. This going on day 5 with no power. I just went and borrowed a generator today. We now have tv, computer and lights. Wow! you sure do miss the simple stuff when you don't have it. I think there are something like 40 power poles around our area close that just snapped from the weight of the ice. This is the worst ice storm i have ever seen. Randy:eek:

I remember a pretty good icer 'round here back some years ago. I lived in the middle of town, so the power was back up for me in a short while. I just got smacked with the biggest electric bill I've e'er seen here as a single guy. The cat is losing a heater in the laundry house!

No power here means-same heat, heat water on the wood-stove, get water at the spring, coleman lanterns/oil lamps for light, cook on a camp stove, contents of freezer into coolers, and early to bed.

Hope you get it back on soon. Find some joy in roughing it until then--at least the meter isn't spinning.

back to trucks: went with friend to pick up his first diesel today. 99 with 90k on it (and a dead LP). have another guy looking for a 12v 4x4 club/quad-can be rough. my red one is going to CCD monday for front-end straighternin outernin. it quit going where i point it and the tires are wearing oddly.

Well, happy February to everybody. Sure is quiet around here.

Just got to meet BPitts. Nice guy and a really nice truck.

Lost the right rear wheel cylinder this week. Got her all fixed up, though.

Scott

Good morning strangers! It's been a while and I thought that I would drop in and say hello and get caught up on what's been going on. Sadly to say, it didn't take long to read and get caught up on things. Everyone have the winter blues?

Is there any talk on a TDR meet soon?

Cory

I was nice meeting you scott, you also have a really nice truck

Went to see Scott at his work, great guy and really helped me out with some questions I had about my pwc and is making sure it stays in great running condition. I would suggest going to see him if ya'll need some help with 4wheelers,dirt bikes, street bikes,side-by-sides,or jet ski's

Good to see some activity on here again!! I had some squirrelly steering this afternoon and some big time clang, clang, clanging going on. Looked under and saw that the bolt had come out of the track bar on the axle end. Oh yeah, Diesel at the ON THE RUN in Boro on 231s is $1. 99. Never thought I see those numbers on a diesel pump again, guess I will enjoy it while it last.

Glad you and your truck are unharmed Justin.

I saw fuel in NASHVILLE today for $2. 19. I paid $2. 23 in Springfield Monday. Must be on the way down.

Good to hear from you Cory. I thought maybe your membership had run out.

I know he's not on here any more but has anybody heard anything out of Meachum and his truck lately?

Scott

Must be coming down some, as I have been paying 2. 08 for probably the last month atthe Co=op.

I talked with one of the Lebanon guys at the Miller pull, and he said that Meacham had replaced the 24v head with a 12v and he was gearing up for some big drag event in Florida, I think that Suncoast trans puts it on. Next week or two I think.

Dollar ninety eight in Indiana.

Where you can choose between LSD and ULSD. duh. Whussup with dat?

Do you have any idea what it's like in a parking garage with 6'6" clearance and 3" of lift and 34" tires?

it's very slow and cautious. if i'd had a screwdriver handy I'd removed the clearance lights. I did air down the tires.

Spent the weekend at Indianapolis for the bike show whilst yall were getting snowed on.

First "rough" calculation of fuel economy--22. 5 mpg!!!

I just hold it down to 65 or less. Run with the slower big trucks. It puts 100+ free miles in every tank. Old style driving was netting 17-18mpg. And I still puff a cloud here and there.

The ice storm damage covers a huge area (I traversed KY on 65 of course). I don't think the one we had (1993 or 4) was quite as widespread. Firewood will be cheap for years.

I've been looking at getting the head liner in my 94 fixed. Anyone have any suggestions of where I might get that done around here? Pricing it out will determine how much it bothers me. Thanks.
