Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

I did mine myself, wasn't that big a deal. Materials cost about $20.

If you want to pay someone, I know there's all kinds of ads in our little local trade paper in Springfield, The Bargain Browser. I'm sure there are others, too. I know Collins Interiors on Nolensville will do you a good job but I don't know what it would cost.

Hey Midd-Tenn bunch. Has anyone thought about a spring get together like you have had in the past? Just wondering with the weather starting to get better. Randy

I "fixed" the headliner junk on my 95 with a staple gun. Just needed some re-tacking up near the windshield. I might be a redneck.

My idea of a Spring get together would to be join in with Bean and crew if/when they do a thang. But if a few of yall want to organize something else-feel free. I can get the postcard mailout and such from HQ if given enough notice.

I'll be racing/riding/training practically every weekend day that it's not blowing hard, raining, or threatening twisters. Getting faster while there's still a chance. :D And faster is relative-I wasn't fast before. :-laf

Filled up the rig in Georgia between Atlanta and Macon this past weekend for $1. 84 at the 201 on I-75. Was the cheapest I've seen anywhere all year so far. I did see it for $2. 07 at the Home Depot in Cool Springs which is cheap for that area especially. I've been all over the place so far this year since the first weekend of January. Having a good year so far other than a few crashes. Just part of the game though when you run hard. Safety equipment did its job and I was fine each time just tore up the truck a little.

This warm weather we're supposed to have this weekend has got me excited to finally get the Dodge all cleaned up and nice again. My wheels have been needing polishing for WAY too long! And the truck itself is just way too dirty for my tastes. Washed it a few times just to get this salt off that they've been putting down way too much. Got this weekend off from racing and going to try and get a lot of stuff done around here and hopefully enjoy a nice weekend.

Here's a few pictures from my "adventures" so far this year...

Good to hear from you Cory. I thought maybe your membership had run out.

My TDR membership hasn't ran out, but my diesel truck membership ran out! HA! I feel lost not having my diesel anymore. Oh well, something about buying a new house and getting married last May and now having a new baby that was born on February 2nd tends to be a little more important than a diesel truck... . for some reason!

Ok, just wondering here but seen a truck today and wondering if the owner is on here. There was some guys doing some kind of road work on Wilson Pike in Brentwood and there was a silver 2nd gen with some Moto Metal wheels on it and an Edge sticker in the back window. Great looking truck. Wondering if the owner was on here.

So I seen another truck yesterday that I'm pretty sure I've seen on here before. Was heading out from Bass Pro up at Opry Mills and there was a white 2nd gen quad cab short bed pulling in. Had 3rd gen emblems on the doors. I'm almost positive I've seen it on here before.

Anyone from here heading up to TS in a few weeks? Not sure yet if I'll be out on the road racing that weekend or not but if I'm home I'll more than likely be up there.

We no longer exist???

Was just looking at the latest issue of TDR. When looking under Chapter News " Local Chapters", we are no longer listed. Are we no longer recognized?

Winter is over and now it's time to come on out and see the sun. Where is everyone and whats going on?

Speak up people. :-laf

can't find any mention of drags. i suppose it was too wet for that.

did find a playlist of pulls at youtube:

YouTube - On Our Way To TS OUTLAW 2009 09

didn't know about "autoplay" at the tube. pretty neat. I heard "Joe Underwood" announced by the PA, but don't know if his pull is on that list. One that looked like his sputtered at the line.

Track looks way slick, hard for big power trucks to make boost on.

I'll go dig around some more.

Drags were cancelled due to some idiots tearing up the property and doing donuts in the grass and then running down the track slinging mud everywhere. The owners of Beach Bend cancelled the event.

yeah, I found some fluff and dander about it in the other nooks and crannies out here.

I had a bike race-that I wasn't actually racing this particular time, but that had planned on attending. It was so nasty that I didn't even do that.

I'd love to go, but have two bike events that normally conflict with it. Someone told me that Meacham made a wild run on a short track (had to get out of it at least twice) and clocked 6. 7. But that's just rumor.

I gotta go out of town for a bit, but should be back by Memorial Day and Bean's hoodoo.

Haven't talked to the Bean yet. Wonder how he did.

Yeah, there were some issuses at TS mostly cause by individuals not acting the smartest. And the pulling track was pretty slick. Most trucks had quite a bit of smoke coming off the tires they were spinning so much. I did have a great time though. Saw a lot of awesome trucks. The gang from Geno's was great. Got a FASS on its way for my truck too.

And I'm thinking I'll have to stop by the deal at Bean's there. That will be my last weekend here at home before heading out for about a month worth of racing starting out in Indiana, then out to Wyoming and Montana for 3 weeks after that.

Hope everyone around here has been doing good.
