Awful dang quiet in here lately fellas?



I've got a guy interested in my truck in Ohio. Got a buddy up there I spend a lot of time with when I travel to the pulls, and its one of his friends. I leave the 23rd to go up there for the weekend, and his buddy is gonna look at it then. Hoping to find a nice 96-97 Club Cab 5spd in the neighborhood of 12-14K.



Found a few nice ones on Auto-Trader. We'll see when I actually have $$ to go get one. :-laf

I'm normally mountain bike racing/riding/training this time of year. But I didn't ride enough in Feb/March. Missed one race because I wasn't ready. Missed the second one because the promotor changed. Still puny and weak. Maybe race later.



And the danged grass is growing. I mow six yards--in my spare time.



And then there's the NETSCAPE situation. I haven't been able to post here using my regular browser for about a week. Just sent SSL a PM on it. I opened Exporer --yuck. and VIOLA postOmatic.

I like to avoid monopolistic companies if possible. That's why I frown on Explorer.



Tell me more about the other browsers. I'll try anything--that is anything that doesn't look like AOL.

Mozilla is one of the originals. I haven't used it, but suspect it is flawless.

Hey wade, Need to here something on the sled weights. Got some counter weights off a crane. Got two pieces weighing 8,000 - 10,000 lbs each. One 4ft square, other 4 1/2ft square. Another 10,000 lbs of 400-500 lb pieces, each about 2ft by 2 1/2 ft. All have an eye in them to make loading and unloading with a chain easy. Need to know something as scrap man needs to know pile them up for us to pickup or take em to the melting pot... Thanks. Would be ideal I think for sled as they are nice and square, ain't everyday you find something like that.

Truck needed WAY to much work. Here's an example.



Fuel Sending Unit

Air bag light was on (most likey clockspring according to dealer $190 to fix)

and about $600 worth of front end work! :{



Oh well.

Cut a hole in the bed for the fuel sender. Put window tint over the airbag light like I did when I pulled the AB fuses.

And drive real careful over EVERY bump in the road...



It's still a good deal if it hasn't been hit and the body isn't beat to crap. and you like the color... ... ... ... .

I PASSED! Still looking for someone to take this one off my hands so I can get my Club/Quad. Possibly venturing to the dark side (over-valved ) if I come across the right deal on a 98 QC. Now this poor guy is trying to sell his truck to ANYONE for $10,500 so he can buy mine! :-laf Poor guy, he only drove it for 30 minutes :-laf

I dunno man, but spread the word my trucks for sale! And while your driving around keep and eye for me for potential trucks. Club/Quad cab long bed 5spd 4x4's :-laf

Nice day outside today!

So what have you guys been up too? Me I finally got up about 10AM :-laf and decided to wash the truck. I must say it hasn't looked this good in a LONG time. I went around and used Eagle One tire wet appliers to make my tires look new again, and I even "quickly" polished my wheels :-laf



In my opinion it looks great! and that's all that counts! :-laf



Now somebody find me a buyer for this thing!

Dark side? Being over valved? Now got smoke whats wrong with all that. LOL sorry guys been working on the truck adding some more goodies, I'm ready for round two at the dyno.
