Thanks, TDR Staff

transmission jack for local guys

TN (MTPA) pull schedule

I will be there. Plan on watching and not pulling. Don't want to abuse the old clutch.

Plan on bringing the "adult" beverages some other stuff.

Wade, I will be over to your house around 2 p. m. or so. Got to work on a project for my buddy in Iconium so I will be in the neighborhood.

Anything else that needs to be brought?

Jay

HOW ABOUT

SOME PULLING TRUCKS!!!

West TN bunch has bigger fish to fry, Red's truck is pulled down for cam swap, I don't know if Drag Racer (Meacham) is coming or not.

That makes me the "hot" truck

I'll hook like I know what I'm doing. :p But I don't know how I'll hang against a "properly" tuned, propane eating Ferd. I will be significantly stronger than the Mooretown pull. ;)

Stacks in progress.

It rained some today. But not too much, yet.

How 'bout some 50# chunks of lead for the glove box?Oo.

Hey Wade I don't care to fool with hauling my neighbors trailer all the way over there (plus he probably needs it especially on a Sat. ) so if your dad's trailer you mentioned is near by I'll go drag it over to the track if you don't care. It'll give us somewhere to set up seats and coolers and such.

Ok, Kimber, what is up with my truck.

Man, there's NOTHING wrong with it, in fact, it may very well be the most sought after truck in some of our existences! Gap (Piston Slapper) recently sold his 24v, and is madly searching for a 12v. You could prolly make a buck or two if you were willing to part with her. :)

O. K. , I just gutted the mailbox... ... . Concessions are there. Bring yourself, any other food/drink you might want, chair, and the $20 hook fee:D.

I would advise STRONGLY that you bring your own concessions because the burgers are a little overpriced, and definately throw a 12 pack or two of your favorite soft drinks in a cooler.

Heck I'm taking my own mini grille to Scheid with me! :-laf

Something tells me that I will be watching only. I am not positive but I am pretty sure that my stock transmission would go to about a million pieces if I tried to hook. I know my right foot all to well.

That's why after I get my round of bills paid off this month I'm going to start putting back XX amount of dollars as often as possible. I am not even going to "THINK" about pulling the transmission outta this truck without throwing a dual disk clutch in.

Do it once, do it right! :D

Results

Well our own esteemed Pres. pulled a not to shabby 320'-11" not enough to catch the dang powerjokes though.

Great run, no hop, good solid pull down the track! But needs more smoke! :-laf

GO GO POWERJOKE!

Check out this twin turbo'd powerjoke in attendence tonight! He was nursing a SBC clutch and therefore did not pull. Man those turbos were crammed in there! And look in my second pic behind his tire and you'll see the 5" downpipe and exhaust in the wheelwell.
