I've been walking out of stores, looking for my truck... look, that's not my truck, too white... whoops... that is my truck. Dang salt they put on the roads... wish people would learn to drive in snow/ice...

I guess it's actually magnesium chloride. http://www.dor.state.ne.us/rca/wz/winter-news-2001.pdf

See the tech data here: http://www.peterschemical.com/Magnesium Chloride.htm

It's suppose to be safer and better than calcium chloride or salt. I know for sure I don't miss the gravel sized salt chunks they used the last 2 years on the interstate. No more rock chips!!! WOO HOO :D

I have been washing this crap off as soon as the roads are dry anyway though.

Rats!

Well, there I was, all ready to go to the Ameristar on Sat AM and have some good chats! My schedule changed yesterday and now I'm scheduled to fly Saturday morning. If, for some reason, it gets CANX'd, I'll see y'all. :p

Matt, if memory serves me correctly, there was plenty of room in the lot for a 28' trailer.

dang

I missed another one, I always look here right after you guys already met.

Any room for a 1st gen to come chat with you guys?

I also need to drag a 2nd gen and a 3rd gen friend out with me, dang none TDR subscribers. I try to get them here but they wont.

jlast,

There's always room for more folks and you'd be welcome! One thing, it's always an "adventure" with these meetings. We had planned to have breakfast at the Ameristar this morning, like we did a few months ago, only to find out that they weren't going to be serving for another 40 mins, so we left and all met at a local Village Inn... little things like that to make it memorable.

To all who showed, hope you had a good time. We'll be doing this again in a couple of months...

Well, when the weather warms up, I'd like to have a meet at the flying field and perhaps gets some of the TDR members insterested in Remote control airplanes. I've got a trainer that if it's not blowing 25mpg+ out, can hook it up to another radio and let people try it out. We also have a "fixed" grill at the field where we could have BBQ gathering while enjoying others fly airplanes... I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem. The field is just south of AmeriStar Casino... at the stop light in front of AmeriStar is where you turn south.

For those that are really interested, the Lincoln Sky Knights is having an auction of remote control airplanes and stuff on Feb 8th located in Waverly. PM me and I'll give you directions to get there.

It was quite fun visiting with a few of you, just wish we could have had several tables altogeather... but oh well.

Missed the meeting. I tried to get on here but got some error about a virus from the webmaster. We had an emergency at work and I ended up working till 5:15. No way I was going to be getting up in time to make the meeting. :( I did see a chain of trucks that may have been you guys on my way back in to work about noonish.

Will try again next month.
