Didn't think mine would give up this soon. My bombs are moderate compared to most. It leaks about a quart/ 1500 miles or so arround #1 and #2. You have to really look for to see it after a hard run. I'm sure its just an external leak because my oil test show zero coolant. Would Barsleak do anygood or is that a bad idea? Hate to yank it for such a small leak. Thanks for any input.

Those headgaskets were infamous for leaking there. Cummins now specifies the marine version, 3283335 for standard thickness, -37 for . 010 thicker, -39 for . 020.

I finally lifted mine last night, it has taken a beating from me since building the Twins in September it probably seen 55-60 lbs of boost 100 times. I noticed it after I got home and saw the overflow tank full:( time for an o ring job and a . 020 gasket. I already had this planned it just happen a few weeks too early.

Timmy when you change the gasket dont for get to have the the head check for flatness the head for the lil red came from a 94 truck with 120,000 miles and all the factory seals still on the pump and it took . 008 to get it flat thats the only bad thing about O-ring in the head is that every time it warps it needs done again
