Milage increase W/volumizer?

just picked up a used volumizer and im showing 2 mpg increase on the overhead, running on the "60hp" setting. im not shure if its right... hard pressed to think it is.



has anybody hand calculated an increase with the volumizer on any of the settings

The overhead is not accurate once you add any fueling devices,but it is very possible to see milage increases with enhancements.

I would like to find out why you feel this way?the mpg reading is figured by the miles driven and amount of fuel left in the tank,or measured amount used. I for one will say my overhead reads right with the ez,and that has been checked when refilling the tank.

No it doesn't compute mileage from the amount used from the tank and the miles travelled. I hammer the hell out of my truck with the EZ on 4 all the time and it says I get 20+ mpg all the time now. In reality I'm getting 16mpg when calculated by hand.



It figures mileage based on what it knows about pulse width, injector flow rate, and rail pressure along with miles travelled.

with box off i get 25mpg between 65-75mph of steady driving with box on low overhead says 27mpg not much difference, dont bother me

If you drive in the same manner as you did before the box was put on you won't fake the engine computer out as much, thus your mileage won't be so far off on the overhead calculator.

Jake,Put the pipe down then recheck your milage. 25mpg don't think so.

Yea sure. I get between 49-53 on mine. No wait thats not my truck thats the VW NB.
