Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Milage on a 24v?

I apoligize if this has been asked before but I was wondering what people have actually put on there 24v motor as far as milage? Are there any out there up in the high milage range?



Mine is at 114816 as of this morning on my 99...



I am just hopeing for a long and lasting relationship with this one...

510,xxx as of this morning. Two lift pumps, one VP44, two alternators. Everything else is original, even head gasket.

My 2002 just turned 150000 today. 1 VP, 1 LP, 2 Transducers in transmission. But now my VP is leaking. All else is original.

It's encouraging to see the higher mileage trucks out there that are on the original VP... . I feel like 142k on the original ain't nothin' compared to some folks out there.



I would be that those who have been through several LP's have also monitored FP since day #1 and changed the LP's proactively.

Met a guy last summer who was have his 99 3500 repaired. Asked what his problem was and he told me he was having the odometer replaced. It hung up at 999,999 miles! He had been delivering campers and was calling it quits.



He said he had replaced lift pump about 20 times, don't know about other repairs.

145,000 miles 1 vp-44 1 lift pump when i got it previous owner no gauges and a trans this one is my fault fell in love with the upgrades .
