well... .

1200 miles and no towing yet! just can't get the time to hook up to a load and break her in right!! last tank of fuelaround town driving only empty:16. 5 MPG:D i think thats not too bad. hopefully it will go up a bit when i put some weight behind it and install the Ramifier!..... james:D

Tobaccogrower, I cant remember if it was you or not I had seen in another thread that lost your cat? Just wondering if thats why you are getting good mileage? Thanks

I have seen those same MPG on my truck on my first tank and since - 2 fillups now and both in the 16. 7 range. Completely stock.

2500 miles on the clock for me 2500 4x2 all stock. Saw 21. 0 hand calculated basically around town, and 15+ pulling 7400lbs gooseneck trailer! No complaints here... just not as good as my 01

I'd like to see a video of you setting the cruise at 75mph and resetting the MPG display... I just can't see 21+ at 75, especially in a 4x4. Even my 2G wasn't close to that good. I had to be at ~60 or tailing a semi to see 20+. I know you've expressed your distaste for the 600 and are out to convince everyone the 04 555 is the gold at the end of the rainbow, but let's be somewhat realistic, please. :)

I reset mine @ 70 mph and kept it that way for over an hour, not much variation in speed (southeast Texas good 'ol flat highways), and I averaged 21. Reseting it for in town, I'm getting 17-18, but I ain't runnin it hard either.

Last weekend I was running hard headed westbound toward Seattle and was averaging high 70s to around 80 and had a fair amount of headwind. I reset my overhead and it showed 18. 5 mpg. Coming home I reset it again and was driving slower (low 70s) and it showed 22. 5 but of course the wind was behind me now :)

2/3 of that tank was highway and hand-calculated 20. 7.
