However, I live in a rural west Texas county of perhaps 5,000 residents. I have no neighbors and have to drive ten miles to the nearest small town. There's normally a breeze or a serious wind blowing. I don't give an epa about exhaust pollution. It is simply a non issue here. I don't want soot blowing out of my exhaust pipe but the standards demanded on my '06 by the punishment agency were effective and tolerable.
From my point of view the epa is a useless wasteful runaway bureaucracy that has outlived its useful life. It is causing more harm than good.
If KA, NYC, NJ, and Chitcago want emission controls on their vehicles be my guest. We neither need or want them here.
