What kind of mileage are you guys still running factory wheels and tires or 16" rims getting?

Some of you may remember I got a "killer deal" on some factory's and still new michilens when I got my truck last year, but it went sour when I realized they wouldn't fit and the jerk wouldn't give me my money back.

Well my sucky Wild Country's are wearing thin, and I was thinking 33x12. 50xR16. 5 BFG AT's because every 33x12. 50xR16. 5 in my town is $150. However a friend of mine last night with and old Phord truck said "whenever you want to sell those rims let me know" so I'm wondering would it be worth it to get a set of 16" wheels and go back to 265's (I am aware my truck came with 245's, but I'm not going tiny ).

I'm having to replace ball joints this week and that brings the list to new front axle end u-joints, new hub assemblies on both sides, and now ball joints and a track bar? Should I get rid of the big wide tires?

Should I look around and see if I can find somebody who maybe has some factory wheels they don't want? Or see if I can find a deal on some 16x8 aftermarket rims?

What is your opinion?

How wide are your 16. 5" wheels? What is the backspacing?

If they are 8" and the backspacing is 4"-4. 5" I'd say stick with them. If they are 10" and you don't mind going to a little narrower tire, I'd say dump 'em. The wider rims, tires, and offset is harder on the front end parts.

Rims are 16. 5x9. 75 and tires are as stated 33x12. 50xR16. 5's.

Yeah I'm contemplating now. Wonder how much my Phurd buddy would give me for my Eagles? Anybody got any factory wheels they want to get rid of? Or know of anybody?

Keep the opinions coming.

I have a set of factory chrome wheels and riken tires (265's) that are practically brand new with caps, lugs the whole deal. I just bought a set of 16. 5 mickey thompsons with the 33 by 12. 5 tires... . let me know since they are taking up my shed space... ..... btw i'm in ct
