Especially for the 2x4 2500 trucks, how many miles to replacement are you getting?

(edit)

Obviously, the third option was SUPPOSED to be 30-40K...

Currently at 25,000 miles on my Michelins - look to have about 50%+ left on the 265x75 LTX/AS - mostly towing our 5th wheel with a bed/hitch weight right around 1600 lbs. Doing MUCH better than my '91 did on tire wear in the same service...

I'm at 31k on mine right now. I'd estimate 50% left on them. Mine's a 3/4 ton 2WD.

Remember also, the first 1/2 wears quicker than the second 1/2 due to tread squirm of the taller treads.

Mine has just over 31,000 and I have 9/32 tread left on all 4 tires. I do rotate every 5,000 and I keep the air pressure at 45 PSI in all tires except when towing, then I increase rears to 60 PSI and the fronts go to 50 PSI.

I do have a 4X4

Mine are at 50,000 and will make 10 more. I would change them if we were aproaching the winter months.

Really disapointed in them. I've had michelin a few times before and they all went to 100,000!! On top of that the traction with anything wet is horrible. Wet grass, grad the extra shifter. Wet roads, better be ready to grab it then too if you want to get it stopped.

Replaced original Goodyear's immediately with Michelin's and replaced them at 70k. 2nd set still going strong. 235r85-16 a little taller and better traction for 2wd.

130K on oem, 1/32 left to wear bars(not recommended) and change time. Best tire wear I ever saw. 265/75/16 A/S:--)

I'm at 64,600 with about 1/3 of original tread left. I keep all tires at 60 psi and increase to 80 if towing the trailer while carrying the camper.

Got 62 K on the factory 245 tires.

These are 265's and the truck is now at 104K. They will last as long as the old 245's did or more.

If I slowed down more before turns they'd last a lot longer. :D

Hank - How did the slightly taller 235's effect your overall gear ratio? I am going to put the same tire on my '98 12v. Thanks, John

I got 51,000 out of my factory michelin. They were bald eagles by the time I replaced them with BFG. I barely got 36 out of those. . Now I'm trying Peerless see how many miles I can get out them. 90 percent of the time is highway drive and not towing.

62k on my original LTX M/S's but they could have gone another 15-20k for sure or more based on the wear patterns. I had not kept them properly inflated for so long and had I gotten an alignment done when I should have but I hated them (except for the mileage I was getting out of them) so was hoping they would wear out sooner than later. They would have been great if it never rained, snowed or if the truck never saw anything wet in general.

265s looked great at 12k miles, then the bombs were added, now at 26k, I am hoping to make through summer. The next set should last a lot longer.

40k and still about 30-40 percent of tread left. I have never even rotated them. When it comes time, I'm looking for more like 'em
