Any of your diesel gurus or ex-military guys have experience with the late 60s early 70 multifuel engines? They sure sound strong when they go screaming by. I found a deuce and a half and am curious what I should expect in terms of durability and mileage. I know the mileage is going to be pretty low, the truck weighs over 11k. This particular one is a 1968 Cargo truck. The military is switching over from the multi fuel Continentals to a lower emission Mack design if I understand correctly.
