Strange stuff in fuel filter housing.

Why didn't Ford make an Inline 6????

Hey, guys, I don't have the paper in front of me, but there was (I think) a 1950 military Power Wagon in the Houston Chronicle classifieds today. It's in the Antique and Classic Vehicles section.

If anyone's interested, maybe someone who has access to the paper can give the details...

Well, I Was Close

Here's the ad in its entirety:

Disclaimer: Ain't my truck. Ain't my ad. Never seen the truck. Never talked to the ole boy. Done told ya all I know above.

This truck is in the Truck Trader Magazine, been in the magazine for several months now. Theres a pic of it in the magazine. Dodge did not offer a 318 in 1949 only flat head sixes. Now I have only seen the pic. but looking at the pic and reading between the lines of the add my guess is that it is a 1949 pickup body that has been put on a old Dodge Pickup or Ramcharger military frame. The military had a bunch of seventies four wheel drive Dodge pickups that were being auction off a few years back.
