Million Mile 12V

Story: I left work from the night shift 2-10 and stopped over at the Cummins shop for some spare parts as there open till 1:00 am , while I was in there I struck up a conversation with a guy and his wife about trucks, seems he has a 98' 1 ton that has to be like one of the last 12V's off the line, he told me about how the KDP was not there and instead had a bolt in it's place and had no rubber fuel lines, just the plastic(rubber covered) ones. Anyway we talked about miles on our trucks miles, seems he's at 975,000 right now! He hauls trailers for a living (as you can guess) so we talked about power, transmission's ect. His truck is still stock and has been through (4) 5 Speeds and is about to convert it to a 6 Speed, looks like another one is about to go over the top.

It only took him 6 engines, 32 sets of injectors, 17 transmissions and a new truck to get to a million! :-laf :-laf

got over 500 on a powerstroke. on the second auto. Who knows if it will make a million or not. Need to start drivn it more Travis



I wonder if that motor had been overhauled ?
