Competition Minnesota Pull

May 22nd, at the Buffalo Rodeo Grounds 6:30 start. Those who want to pull we are meeting at the Holiday Station in Rockford off Hwy 55 at 5pm sharp. We can then Bombvoy to the location together, and get teched/weighed. We are hoping for a good show of CTD's for the folks in the stands. This is the First time they are running trucks at this pull. If we can put on a good show, they will run them again!

You have no idea how bad I want to try pulling. As I have said before the only problem is $$$ if I destroy anything, which with my luck will happen often! I'm willing to bet that with enough pep talk and rum I could be convinced that I need to try pulling though

I have been pulling for about 10 -12 years. mostly with my old ford built for pullin. I did pull my 93 dodge a few times and did ok. I will be there if things work out.

My '98 has a stock clutch... I'm not hooking that one until it gets a dual disk...

Common Matt... Tim at Torque Diesel Performance can have a clutch ready and waiting for you if you do smoke it! We can throw it in before you pull!

I need an 1-3/8" input shaft first - before I upgrade to the clutch.



Not to mention the fact that my truck has an open diff out back... it would bring a whole new meaning to "sit-n-spin".

The way I figure it... . Open diff is a place for things to "give" and "slip. " That way I can't break anything!

It took me a long time to modify the '94 and the '98 will be the same way... slow and steady.

But don't you wanna know how much your modifications have improved your truck from stock? Pulling stock and then as you modify would PROVE just how well they are working!
