... but still had a good time. Nice to meet some new faces along with some more familiar. Kowalski,wasn't that the guy in "Vanishing Point". It looks like they have moved the nationals to oct. 27 so we don't have to cram it and Ernie's into one weekend. John,what did you and your little girl do?Sorry I bailed but I was going on about 2 hours sleep . Jetpilot,still looking forward to seeing that thing runOo. . Man what a bummer!!! I was really looking forward to racing. Oh well, it was nice to see all of you guys again. Ernie's will be a blast on the 5th and now I have Oct. 27th to look forward too.



On another note I need to hook up with Cliff so we can work on stacks for the bottle rocket.

Ah yes my fine young bottle rocket pilot,the stacks you seek,it may be in conflict with either of the sanctioning bodies(NHRA or IHRA)rules,,Remember,with your 2 gas bottles back there stacks present a problem most tech men will bounce you for,,Check the rules over thoroughly and I'll double check with my NHRA regional tech man,,The only way I think you may get away with the stacks and the gas bottles is if the stacks are contained with a steel plate separating them and the gas bottles,,With the propane in the bed especially,a spark would cause a rather large mess,,I'd think it over and decide what your looking to do with the truck before you add the stacks,,Stacks are cool,but,not something I'd want to do with the bottles onboard... ... ... We went to the BASS PRO shop at Arundle Mall with the Kowalski clan. Had a great time and now I don't have to cancel my reservations in Hershey in order to squeeze in both events. See you all on the 5th and the 27th.

the new guy

Hey guys,

i am the new guy Andy was referring to. My name is Larry,but everyone calls me L. J. (Larry Jr) It was great to meet some of the other members. I am hell with names, but i can remember faces and trucks for the most part. I know seeing 2 trucks with stacks got my head spinning!!! That might be my second BOMB after i get my gauges installed. Well i look forward to seeing all of you on the 5th at Kauffman's.

Jetpilot(Doug) is going to help me the week of sept 23 i believe. We have to set a day and time still, but he is supposed to help me out.
