I have a 2001 4x4 dodge diesel with power windows and stanard non power tow mirriors I would like to add on new power towing mirriors ? is the control power plugin for the mirriors installed in the door and if so do i need any thing else to make them work

My truck came with the westcoast stainless mirrors with the 4 bolt mounting hardware. I installed 3rd generation power/heated mirrors. I had to get the mirror toggle switch and the heat switch which is part of the HVAC controls. Otherwise it was just a case of plugging it all in . I was suprised that no relays or fuses had to be installed. All the wiring was there. look on Ebay and you can find the parts you need. Of course you will have to do the 3rd generation mirror base swap if you intend to use the factory tow mirrors. Do a search on power mirror swap or conversion and prepare to read for a while
