I'm looking to repair/replace the knob on the drivers door that controls the electric mirrors. I was switching from driver's side to the passenger side and the knob kept spinning. I now have to use pliers to switch sides. I went to the dealer and they want to sell me the whole switch assembly. Is there a part number for replacing it or a way to repair my broken knob?

Thanks'

There should be a part # for the knob itself. When I switched to Electric tow mirrors I had to order the switch and it came without the Knob. I then had to order the Knob. Sorry but can't find the part # for ya.

Which dealer did you call? My experience with Parts at Luke is that if a part exists, they'll find it. I have not done so well at the other dealers. (That understates my experiences!) Have you tried JB Quick Weld on the knob? It might work, but don't plan on ever taking it off again!

i have the complete unit (knob, switch, wiring, etc) from when i took the electric mirrors off my '94 to install flip out tow type

pay for shipping and they are yours !!!

jglass,

been 4 days now and no reply on wanting my used mirror controls.

someone else asked for it in case you didn't want it so i am sending the controls to them

Here is my question, i just converted to the trailer towing mirrors, how does the switch unscrew from the door panel? i dont want to break it
