My outside right mirror defroster has quit working... It's a stock electric mirror with defrost. The electric adjustment still works, but the defroster has stopped. Any ideas...

Also, how does the mirror part come out of the housing? If it just pops out, I'll take it out and look at all the connectors behind it... . Thks... ;)

You can replace just the mirror part. It sounds like you lost the heater on the right side. The adjustment part is separate from the heater part. It pops out, and if the dealer is kind, they can get you the mirrror part at a reasonable price. Pull firm, but gently, and it pops out.

Is is possible that something just came loose behind the mirror???

Also, if I understand you correctly, you just gently pry on the mirror to pop it out of the housing???

Thanks for the help... :)

Yup, that's it. It helps to adjust it in all the way, and maybe even down. Then you have a gap to see the wire-spring thingy that attaches the head, and you get a little room for your fingers to get in there and pull.

JR2 is right, probably not loose, but a bad grid.
