Drivers side (small) convex mirror is starting pull a way from its attaching point, but still stuck enough that I am unable to pull it off. any tricks to remove it before it falls off and glue it back on so I dont have to buy a new mirror.

Place some duct tape on two edges of the mirror and that should hold it when the adhesive does break free, then just silicone it back on.

An alternative would be to use a heat gun in order to soften the adhesive and slowly work it free. Never have tried this so do it at your own risk.

Godspeed,
Trent

You might try using a piece of fishing line to work down and cut through the remaining adhesive. Work it back and forth like flossing, and floss would work also if you don't fish. On my 01 the only thing holding all 4 of these mirrors was a few small pieces of double-stick tape put in place to hold the glass while the spots of silicone cured. I did the same thing to re-attach them and it has held well for years.

Just make sure you tape it on so it doesn't take off on you.

I was able to pull mirror off. Peeled tape off use silonce and duct tape to hold her in place over night. Thought you all might want to see whats behind there
