Hot Wire for 7 pin connection

No control

Hey looks like we are getting a 5th wheel camper this year and my truck does not have the tow mirrors. (2500 SRW Quad) Can you just order tow mirrors from the dealer, anything different with the wiring? Is there a better way to see around the big camper. Just checking...

Thanks,

The mount should be the same. There are wires for it to go to the stock power connection in the door. Dont know on the heated mirrorss On my 01 you had to replace the center heater control panel. The heater wires, if you have that already, should be the same

Factory Towing Mirrors

I Just Got My 2008 Megacab In Oct. '07 And If You Will Check In The

Factory Catalogue In The Accessory Section (this Was A 2007 Cat. )

They Show An Extendable Towing Mirror That Is Both Heated And

Has 3 L. e. d. Signal Lights Built Into Mirror. It Looks Like The "cipa"

Mirror In Shape, Not Like The Standard "flip-up" Mirrors. They Offer

A Great Sight Picture And Have No Vibration At Speed... . and The Best Part Is That They Are Only An Approx. $100. 00 Upgrade When

Ordering Your Truck... . chek 'um Out !... also When Turn Signalis

Being Used, The 3 Led Lights Blink In "sequence"... looks Cool.

Look at buying McKesh mirrors. You install them when needed and store them when not towing. They clip onto each door and give you execellent view behind.

Mr. Wilson,

I have an '03, also, & installed the factory tow mirrors, myself. They were not too tough to do (I'm no mechanic, either). Everything bolted up & plugged in perfectly & works well. As I recall, they were somewhat over $300. 00 from the dealer.

To be honest with you, on my '91 W-250, I installed a 6" convex mirror on the drivers side mirror & a 7" on the passenger side. Connected them with metal extensions. They work much better than the small convex mirror on the stock tow mirrors for the 3rd Gens.

A lot of people really like how the tow mirrors work but, the set-up on my 1st gen. is FAR superior. Mostly because, the convex mirrors are so much larger. The smaller ones probably work for younger "eyes", than mine but, not for me.

if you like the look of your mirrors now and only tow occassionally, I would buy the McKesh mirrors,, if you tow more often , there is a website that sells the Dodge tow mirrors for it is either 10 or 20 % off list price,, that is where I ordered mine,, if you have mirrors that already have the pwer/heat function , they plug right in ,, very easy to change mirrors,

Mr. Wilson. I have a set of factory 03 flip up tow mirrors that are powered & heated and are in very good condition. The 4 sale price is $175 plus shipping.
