2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission mirror question (3rd gen to 2nd gen?)

does anybody know if the 3rd gen power heated towing mirrors fit on a 2nd gen truck? also if my '01 slt was equiped with power mirrors to start, but then substituted with flip up towing mirrors, will the harness be there? and will it fit the 3rd gen harness?
