I have the factory heated fold out towing mirrors on my '04. The glass on the drivers side seems loose and wobbles a lot while driving. The glass on the passenger side is much more stable and doesn't wobble. Is there a way to fix/tighten up the wobble on the drivers side?

Somebody on TDR did a fix on this use the search feature and I'm sure you can find it . Mine wiggle a little but not too annoying yet

It might be partially released from it's mounting. Tilt it alll the way toward truck and look behind ithe glass, the base of the mirror slides into a little recess and should lock in place when all the way in. There are some spring arms on the part that the glass is secured to that I assume are to stop vibration. If it is partially out of the slot you might push in on the glass and cause it to snap back in place. The glass is very thin and therefore easily broken. Maybe by looking behind the glass you can jiggle the glass and tell where the slack is. If you need to remove the glass section, I can give you the procedure I used. bg

Thanks for the info. I did exactly what you said and that was the problem. It wasn't snapped into place all the way. I did take the mirror glass completely off just to see what was behind there. That allowed me to see how it is held in there. When I replaced it, it snapped back in solidly and no more wobble.
