It might be partially released from it's mounting. Tilt it alll the way toward truck and look behind ithe glass, the base of the mirror slides into a little recess and should lock in place when all the way in. There are some spring arms on the part that the glass is secured to that I assume are to stop vibration. If it is partially out of the slot you might push in on the glass and cause it to snap back in place. The glass is very thin and therefore easily broken. Maybe by looking behind the glass you can jiggle the glass and tell where the slack is. If you need to remove the glass section, I can give you the procedure I used. bg
