Try a piece of 2x2 angle 3/16"-5/16" by 30" or so in front of the muffler where the pipe is straight (you have an ext. cab. ?) and grind some notches in it and gently clamp a muffler clamp on each end.

Do the mirror conversion listed on this site, you can get both sets from dodgeparts.com. You will be glad that you did this, no I didn't like the cost but I love having a stock power/heated mirror, as far as the powervision mirrors,,,,,I'd never ever put a chevy looking part on my Dodge, as for the Cipa mirrors they may work well but I just can't get over how ugly they are ,sorry guys just my feeling, but that how I see it, cipa cost 400 and for only a 100 more I have the correct looking mirrors for my truck,,You'll be glade that you did the work and installed the dodge mirrors. Yes I love my Truck!!!!!
