And if you only have one mirror up, do you get only 50% of the extra power? And is it all on one side? I think the computer will send it to the side with the mirror up, so that the extra power balances the drag of the mirror to make sure the truck still drives straight. ;)

And if I put strap-on mirrors on my towing mirrors and put my towing mirrors in the "up" position, do I get bonus HP and torque above the 50/125?

You guys are a scream. I was coming down the west side of "Going to the Sun" right after it opened one spring. They still had the snowplow polls up and it is real narrow up there, so my BIL and I folded the mirrors in against the side of the truck to avoid either hitting on coming traffic or one of those poles. Down the hill a ways where it gets wider I meet a "Cowboy" coming up with his mirrors up in tow position and I thought he is in for a rude surprise when he either has to take on the on coming traffic or hit one of those poles.
They are great for towing but don't fit in the garage door and I'm too lazy to get out and fold them every night. I miss the power out mirrors I have on my '98.

I forgot about my SIL borrowing my truck and commented about them being up, :rolleyes:when he left they were down, when he got back, he then told me he now understood why. :-laf. The bed is wider than it looks.

Ya, I put my mirrors down and thats when the dead pedal showed up, so I put them back up, but the dead pedal stayed. it must have been the position sensor damaged, because they were in the up possition for so long.
