Friend of mine has a 92 reg cab 3/4 ton 4x4 CTD with 95000 miles on it
it is original from factory with the getrag 5 speed.
Drove it last nite it is running on 3-5 cylinders maybe. after it warms up with
no load (going down hill) it seems to come to life even on the flat road
sometimes will hit on all 6 cylinders. Another thing that bothers me some of the electrical, is not working, temp guage, radio and the water sensor comes on, as soon as you turn on the key even after it has been run. My diagnostics
was not to extensive, being dark in the rain and at his work place with co-workers, there was an almost empty case of miller and the bottle of Jack was a memory. Do I believe the water sensor speculating bad fuel, Lift pump? injection pump? injectors, FSM for my 90 doesn't mention any thing about the lift pump for t-shooting procedures, any feed back will be appreciated
