Mis firing and really low power

Friend of mine has a 92 reg cab 3/4 ton 4x4 CTD with 95000 miles on it

it is original from factory with the getrag 5 speed.

Drove it last nite it is running on 3-5 cylinders maybe. after it warms up with

no load (going down hill) it seems to come to life even on the flat road

sometimes will hit on all 6 cylinders. Another thing that bothers me some of the electrical, is not working, temp guage, radio and the water sensor comes on, as soon as you turn on the key even after it has been run. My diagnostics

was not to extensive, being dark in the rain and at his work place with co-workers, there was an almost empty case of miller and the bottle of Jack was a memory. Do I believe the water sensor speculating bad fuel, Lift pump? injection pump? injectors, FSM for my 90 doesn't mention any thing about the lift pump for t-shooting procedures, any feed back will be appreciated

The guy that hauls junk for me had a similar problem of misfiring and really low power and empty beer bottles. He later recalled putting 15 gallons of Shell 87 in the tank instead of D2. Six injectors later the truck runs great.

Simple things to check first..... I'd change out the fuel filter... . then I would bleed the injectors... ... then it would be on to checking fuel pressure at

... . then possible on to the injectors and injection pump... . it may be as simple

as a clogged fuel filter...
