Took my baby to Mother today and noticed a new shortblock waiting to go into a 2001 2500, here are some shots. The man standing by the block is the Dealership Diesel mechanic and a TDR member.

I wonder what part of the engine belongs under a brake drum Seriously... That dude is standing next to one big hunk of iron isnt he???? A few years ago I saw a 12V with auto transmission sitting outside at the entrance to a boneyard... that engine is huge outside of the truck!
