2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Missed a Good Deal

I've been looking for a 1 ton quadcab and missed a good deal this weekend. Pulled the paper early, saw a 2000 4x4, 57k: $17,500. Only thing wrong was cracked dually fender, otherwise very nice. I was the first one to see it but someone else had phoned ahead of me and seller wanted to let him take alook at it before I could buy it.
