2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Missing Lenses??

I purchased the three small running lights for my tailgate. You know, the ones that are on 3500 duallies. I have the holder and the wire harness that has the light plugs but the kit did not come with the light bulbs nor the red lens covers. Do I need to order them from Dodge as well?? What part Number? I hope I can get them somewhere else?

I believe they are like the fender lights on a dually and you should be able to find some at any parts store. Bring the mount in with you and check the sizes.

You can find them at a NAPA store or most any big truck supply store. Might as well get the LED version. They are a sealed unit with a plug on the back. www.superbrightleds.com/truck_lights.htm

If I buy the LED version are they going to be brighter or dimmer than the tail lights? Will they look the same? Also, Do they draw more current? Will they last as long as the regular lights? Is there any downside to using LED's?

The OEM light is a Peterson Manufacturing 154 (red).

They are a little brigher than tail lights and stand out better. They will draw far less current than bulb type and have a life expectancy about 6 times longer than bulbs. I have replaced all my clearence lights and have no regrets. The Peterson brand is also a very good product. I have had both in the past
