Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) missing

this is driving me nuts truck is jerking/surging ( like a gasser with a couple bad plug wires) Tried removing the ez, tst on 0, hook up the ez before tst, different fuel vendor and no luck with each increase in number from the tst it just gets more pronounced and harder.



This morning takeing off it just died coasted to a stop and fuel press came back and woulden't start for a moment ( just like air in the line after a filter change) So i checked codes and got:{



p1693 Companion code?

p0237 Turbo boost sensor a cuircit low ( code stored 1st and last in list)

p0122 Tps switch a cuircit low input?



These are what the code book read.

any help is greatly appriciated

Sounds like you will be paying a visit to the Dodge dealer and lay down too many dollars for a TPS or APPS, whichever you want to call it. If you have a friend with a 24 valve that does not act up put his TPS on your truck and confirm whether it is the TPS. Just did this for a friend who was going nuts also.

BTW, if you try another TPS just unbolt the 3 bolts on top and swap the TPS and its mount, do not unbolt the TPS from the mount.

Check out TDR issue 54, page 40..... the APPS can sometimes be repaired.

apps dead

well checked the apps and it is dead voltage in but nothing out so i replaced it and truck runs better but jerking is still there was told the map can cause this so i am left to change it also :{
