Fda Warning

Well thanks to our guys in the local senate we now have the right to carry a concealed weapon in missouri. Thankfully they vetoed that idiot Holden on this one. Looks like it will cost 100. 00 the first time and 50. 00 for each renewal. :D Oo.

Congrats :D

Mixed blessing.

Wait 'til they come out with the "List" of places you're NOT allowed to carry even with a permit. ;)

Still waiting for a National CHP. ;)

Check out www.packing.org

Interesting site.

I thought the price of renewal was kind of steep. They want $100. 00 the first time and then $50. 00 thereafter every year. Now I have to buy something besides long colts and blackhawks. :D I think the Wife will understand that I couldn't conceal my SuperBlawk under my coat very well. :D

A member here was one of the state Senators that got that law passed for you guys.

A HUGE round of applause for Larry Crawford!!!!! Way to go Larry!!!!!!

This might get some guys hot at me... . I hate the CCW laws popping up in various states... . many require extensive training, testing, fingerprinting, etc. , etc. which is nothing less than gun owner registration. So when it's time to give 'em up, if the liberals finally get their way, they know ya got one(or more :D ) Vermont has the best law, no fees or permits required. That is what it should be...

Alabama had a pretty good one when I was lucky enough to be living there, background check by the sheriff's dept. , and a small annual fee, that's all. Dunno if that has changed or not.

Reciprocity!

I hope they recognize Arkansas' CCW permits. I travel a lot in Missouri.

It's about time Missouri joined the main stream.

Check the statistics in about 3 years and see if violent crime starts dropping in KC and STL.

National right to carry next!

One thing though, just a thanks to Larry Crawford, good going, man! Come on over to Kentucky, we could use more like you in the state capitol... . :D

I have a Pa permit. $19. 00 for 5 years. It took a whole week to get, and I didnt have to appear in person to get it.

On the other hand, the Fla permit I have cost me $117. 00, however it's good in about 18 other states. It too is good for 5 years.

Don't forget if they allow stores to bar people from carrying into them. Okla has this setup. Stores can post if they do not want legal CCW people to carry into the store.

When I am in Okla if I am going to go into a store. I look for the sign. If I see one forbidding carry into the store. I walk to the front desk and ask for the manager. Then I tell him due to the stores policy of not allowing CCW people to carry into the place. I will find a place that does allow it and deal with them. I also do this in my home state with the few stores that forbid carry. Make your thoughts known to the store management.

Today was the first day that law was in effect that enables anyone that is a resident of the State of Alaska to carry concealed. Alaska also honours all of the other states CCW permits.

Way to go Larry, but where did you come up with that price? Are you skimming off of the top for bombs for your truck? I pay $15 every 4 years. They did get my prints, and it took only 3 months for it to arrive in the mail.

At first you will see a bunch of places that post their signs forbidding carry. I made it a point to have a chat with the manager as to why I would no longer do business with them. Within about a year, the signs disappear. I cannot remember the last time I saw a "forbidden" sign except for those that the law mandates.

Mass sucks:mad: in my state, the towns police chief issues the permit,so my chief said to me if I'm not a cop in his town,I don't have the right to carry..... no time for lawer crap,so as soon as I move to Maine,3-5years from now,I'm getting it back.

Just renewed my IN permit. Local town marshal does the fingerprints and background check. $10 to him and he sends it off to the State Police who request another $15 to send me the little pink card. Good for four years.

My uncle travels from California to IN once in a while to visit. He keeps his Colt . 45 in his Honda at all times... crossing all states... and dont care. His motto is "I'd rather be tried by twelve than carried by 6".
