does anyone know the (I think he was a state representative for Missouri) that pulls this black dodge short bed? I was wondering what kind of setup he has. I saw it pull a month ago and it was one mean truck...

You are looking for Larry Crawford, posts as Roger Rodbolt. One heck of a nice guy, shoot him an email with your question, a quick search on his handle should turn up his info.

The same set-up everybody else has that is serious about pulling--A Mitchell clutch!!

He'll post soon, no doubt.

He won 2 classes at Muncie, beat some trailer queens.

Yeh! It was wild to watch. . And thanks for the clutch info, I have a buddy who wants to start pulling his truck and is afraid that the southbend may not hold... or will it??

I met Larry this weekend at a small pull here in Missouri. Very nice guy:) . He does put on a good show. He tried to enter the open class (anything goes, right?) but when he and another rippin Dodge tried to enter they changed it to 6200# open. They ended up making a Diesel class for them to pull in.

Mitchell Clutch

Turbo LCC,

Sorry to be slow to post but Sled Puller covered it, the Mitchell clutch is a great setup for sled pulling. My wife (she doesn't like to drive any manual trans) drives my truck in parades while I stand in the bed and throw candy... ... ... ... ... that should say a lot for it's streetability.

78repowerwagon,

I enjoyed meeting you this weekend and good luck with that intense blue CTD. Should we mention that one of the white CTD's pulled a MY6EatsV8s show and scattered his receiver hitch down the track? He should have gotten the recall done  :), Larry
