Mitchell clutch questions

OK guys I'm fairly new to the site and I know this subject has been run in the ground but I still have some questions I hope you can help me with. First off from posts I have read previously I think the Mitchell clutch is going to suite my needs best and being about a couple hours away don't hurt either. I want to get all my transmission and fuel system goodies on first then go from there. The clutch I plan on getting is a dual disk and a new input shaft. I plan on pulling locally and on driving this truck to work. From what Ive read this is possible. Does anyone have a Mitchell dual disk that they drive daily? If so how do you like it. My other one is a long shot, but I would really like to ride in a truck that has one of their clutches to make a certain decision. I live in N. E Ohio. Thats really the only thing holding me back from going for it is seeing up close how the clutch works. I appreciate any input.

I was curious also do they consider their dual disk clutches to be "slipper clutches?" If so what would give that away. The class i'm going to pull in does'nt allow slipper clutches, will anybody know?

I've used a Mitchell dual disc pulling clutch in one of my trucks for about a year. This is my most used truck and is a daily driver, trailer puller, sled puller and hobby truck. The Mitchell is very streetable and will take all the abuse that I can muster. There should be serveral trucks for you to test nearby. Give Dave or Doug a call at Enterprise.

The Mitchell will not slip unless you put pressure on the clutch pedal!!! The competition "slipper" clutches are very different, IMHO.

Ditto on what Larry said. Also I drive mine every single day, tow with it, drag race it, and sled pull with it. It is one great clutch, I wish I would've installed this one right from the begining, woulda saved me some time, and money.
