Does anyone have any pics of Daves Setup?

I was justing to see what the plumbing looks like, as far as visual appearence.

Thank you

Adam

Nope, I asked already! The piping is the easy part as you will need to tap your pan and put a baffle in it which requires pulling it. I'm refering to the older blocks that don't have the second bung in the block for a drain.

LOL, As many times as I have looked at that pic, I have never noticed it. But it's one of those thiings, "If it's good enough for him... . " kinda deals!!! Makes me wonder about Gene, he sells Amsoil, but worships Mitchell, wonder if he's got a Fram on his? :-laf :-laf

Andrew

I don't know whose truck that is,(inner fenderwell is red) but it always amazes me how many Cummins trucks I have come across that have Fram on them.

I am almost certain, Mitchell's use Fleetguards.

But you bring up a good point, Andrew, maybe I should let them know how good the SDF 80 is.

Thats HVAC's truck. I seriously doubt he would ever use Fram. Look closely, its a Fleetguard.

Also, the pic of the Mitchell twin setup is not a pic of the pulling truck twins. If there is a pic of that setup, its in a vault a mile underground.

Look at the pic in the second post, it is off of Mitchell's homepage. That is the truck we are talking about.

Andrew

The Mitchell shot you see I believe is the 2wd dually that Dave uses on occasion to tow the feared "Big White Dodge". The shots of it from the Buck this year when Loretta was out in Muncie helping to thrash the westerners are the same. I belive the truck is owned by a friend of theirs and only used when Lorretta's ride unavailable to tow him... ... ... Andy

P. S. -The same dirt still resides inside the engine compartment, except in my photo it has a Fleetguard filter. If I can find it I'll edit it and post it. As for the shots of under Dave's hood, unless you have some kinda of spy camera hooked to Sleddys Amsoil hat you'll never see there and if you ask Dave all he does is say very politely no.
