Competition dual rear wheels vs single rear wheels on a dyno?

Competition 13.63 @ 98.06 video now up...

Hey Gene, I'm glad to hear you got your truck back, I'm sure Dave & Doug did a first class job on it... . bet it runs like a raped ape now:--) I'd wait on that 215 pump if I were you, I've been taking the old 160hp pumps and doing some serious grinding on the cam, putting in some 13mm plungers and barrels. . along with a few other goodies I should have the first one ready for testing next week, can't set it up on a test bench, seems they don't have enough hp to drive this puppy, so I'm putting a Cummins engine on a stand and will use it to drive the pump while I set it up :D I can't wait to put it on my truck and test it out. I can tell next week is gonna be he!! on my rear tires

We had to stay right on Doug, to keep him straight, but he is used to the abuse. :D

We still want to go fishing out there, if you need any track time testing, I volunteer!

Thanks for that special cut T plate, did you decide on a name?

SLED PULLER Torque plate perhaps?Oo.

Gene

Rampant rumors have the now famous pictures of Gene remodeling the bathroom at Enterprise to have a chance at getting his truck back soon to be available to all on the internet,,And honest Gene,it was not me on the phone with Loretta when she was in the middle of your engine assembly,TRUST ME!!!,,Twins and a big bump stick to light her off, guess you'll be having more of those famous meetings with "Officer Jabloney" again,,Now be honest to all of us here, no story telling, how much bigger did the "honey-do" list get since the twins arrived at home( and if your not honest I'll call and get the story for myself, remember I'm a better shmoozer than you),,Did here something about the Pa DEP getting a call after your recent weekend drive, something over the scanner about hiring you for crop dusting for beetles,,Keep your eye out though, you know Johnboy is going to try to hook a chain to keep up with you or add a anchor to the sled you pull so he can win... .

Piers, Piers, Piers. That pump sounds great. Only problem is how much would it cost to put one on this dang 24v. Keep up the R&D, looking forward to seeing what that puppy will do. I know what changes like that do to pulling tractors so I'm sure it will scream in a CTD.

I'll be in school while Piers is doing the testing on that kicka$$ new pump setup he's been cooking up in his laboratory... . I'd rather be in Canada turning wrenches with 'the man' than being bored out of my mind in some 3 hour lecture!!

I know what you mean man!

Gene, Hammer

I think that we should start classifying trucks like Gene's in the Pa Posse, it just sounds right. I know it isn't a sprint car, but it sure sounds like it is just as crazy.

Anyway, Gene, are you going to bring this beast to the 27th diesel national thing I read about? If so, I might have to quit my job for a day :D Cool news about your truck, can't wait to see it one day... should I bring my MIG for your head? :p

Russell

Russell ,,Man I have had that idea for a long time,,Got a great shot of the front of the old Bowers Coal #28D that Brad Doty first started in I took at Sharon Speedway in action with the original Outlaw graphic on the hood,,We'll have to have that transfered to a graphic and made available for our trucks next,,You know why that all started back then Russ, came to light when the WOO would come in and could not even get close to us due to our much more superb big block cars,,It then facilitaed a rule change by Ted Johnson to small blocks so his guys could compete,we stayed big block for about three more years and we just wanted them to know who the real outlaws were,,True Outlaws do not run for points,do not stay at one track, follows rules very well,do not wash and wax their rides inbetween rounds and whos said anything about cleaning their saftey gear,,Going to dig the photo out and get some done... .

Sorry brandon, you don't have enough pulling experience!!

Pa posse- that is funny, because I used to call the Muncie clowns, the "Indiana Posse" They ran in packs.

Most times whichever posse goes to Ohio to pull, they both git run off.

Maybe we can change some of that this year!LOL

Besides, you have a good pump already, greedy!!!:p

Gene, I can't believe that you tell Brandon he doesn't have enough pulling experience. Last year it took you at least 2 hooks to make it 300':D . You won't know how to act this year. Make sure you don't let off the pedal at 150', the length of the WHOLE track is 300':p . You'll need it this year.

Oh, BTW here is a link to Gene's certificate from the state of Ohio. HP wasn't the only thing he got while he was in Ohio. http://www.enterpriseengine.com/customertrucks.htm

Gene, I don't know you but I feel for ya. D. O. T. got me doing 58 in a 45 WORK ZONE. 2 days later I tear my disc mower apart on a limb while towing my trailer with tractor and mower on it. The reason being I was taking the backway to stay away from a$$ooo and his little radar gun. Got out of the ticket (thank you friends) I only had to keep my nose clean for six months. Good Luck and HAMMER DOWN. I mean drive safely.

Thanks Mojo, one back to ya also!

BTW, Miss Lorretta, Don't you think it is time Enterprise paid contingency money??Oo.

THAT would liven thing up a bit at the track!

Yes, Gene, we've been discussing a contingency program. Nothing final as of yet. Leave it up to you to want money back already. I hope you're practicing:D you have my grocery getter to beat.

Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo.

I have been draggin the 'Dozer around all day, went and got some grocerys with it bouncin behind, I think I have it figgered out!

So--- If we beat Dave, we get an open check for future mods, how is that to start?

Nobody believed me about the cops in Kentucky, now here's two guys that can vouch for it. Hey, Mojo, I got two tickets in three days on US 27 between Paris and Cynthiana, when I first started at 3M. Only other place in Kentucky I've seen that heavily patrolled is freakin' Fort Knox ! And it's been 4 years, and they're STILL out there EVERY day... Gene, you dumdum. The bears all wait around Enterprise like it was a honey pot. Kinda like they used to wait around Junior Johnson's race shop in North Carolina.

I guess Dave needs to build a test track out back. :D

Briar, we thought it was clear, she popped over a hill coming towards us and POW!

Need a better shotgun rider.

Yes, Dave should build a High banked oval in all those fields, they can still farm in the middle, we only need two lanes.

I don't think we can go that extreme with the contingency plan. I'm sure that at some point in time Dave will get beat, that's part of the sport:{ . Our girls will be heart broken, they are very involed in both the shop and the pulling.

Hi Briar, haven't heard from you in awhile. Keep your foot off the floor board, it's a lot easier on the wallet that way.
