I just installed Mitchell's double disk clutch, with the help from a couple Friends, thanks Darryl and Matt!

This clutch is awesome, smooth as glass engagement, and hooks like a sum bi!ch! No chatter AT ALL! The pedal pressure is no different that my stock pressure plate was, very impressive doesn't even begin to describe this clutch, I'm extremely pleased.

Can you say EASY 3rd gear launches, with 3. 55 gears and 315 BFG's? WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!! I can see that rear tires are gonna get real expensive. :p

I haven't hooked to a trailer yet, but I'm goin' out right now, to drag my work trailer around just for giggles.

If I had a stick, this is the way I would go no doubt. Now how about a post about pros and cons of this clutch, and your last one, once you get some time with your new clutch. This would be perfect for a side by side test.

dan?,

I know your a 12v, and most of the fast racers are 24v, so are you trying to say your truck is as fast as a helicopter insted of a jet? :p

Kid,

Pro-n-cons with my last one is not really fair, it did it's job, and held everything I threw at it, 'cept the dredded sled, what do ya expect from a $250 clutch and a STOCK pressure-plate. I was happy with it, the sled however, wasn't. :D I won't put down my TST clutch, it was great for the money spent, I'da burned a South-Bend just as quick, @4X the cost.

Danno, BFC, and Stake... ..... FREAKS!!!!! :-laf :-laf

Later, gotta' go drive some more, LOL , Rob

Did you get the Pulling Clutch or the Street Mcleod clutch, I hope if you are going to sled pull you got the Puller. I toasted my Mcleod after about 7 or 8 pulls. Either way you have an awesome clutch now.

For this one time and one time ONLY, Gene gave good advice:p really, this is a great clutch. I also listened to Gene when I got mine, he also told me to get the big input shaft while they had it apart, I did. Now as far as Gene telling me where to stop so that I will not beat him, You just can't listen to something like that from Gene. :-{} :D
