Who's got a barn?

Denver, FP guage I can borrow

I took a few pictures at the July 19th party. . But , I walked around and asked if it was O. K. first. Then the pictures are availiable threw E-mail after the event. .

Alright. Would you mind sending them to me? None of my business but I would just like to get a feel of what goes on, and maybe see who was there and what was done.

Trevor, bring your digital camera. All pics are welcome. I may not have time to get proper pics for our new www.MNTDR.org site, but if you do, great! If you want I can bring my O-scope and we can see what the TPS is actually reading. Just let me know, so I know to bring it home from work.

JNutter, Welcome! I'm happy to see more and more local people on here! I'm trying to set this up for more of us to have fun locally. Trade knowlege, friendship and bragging rights! :D I'm very happy to see that OUR local chapter is taking off. I may be putting it together, but you guys/gals are the ones that make it fun!

Josh

P. S. I'm hoping to have a regular camcorder going during the dyno. If anyone has a digital, please bring it along... . Ways to bring our site up are always great! Hey did you see Arons Twin turbo'ed... .....

Trevor;

A 4k governor spring kit WITH 12 heavy valve springs is a fair price. Without springs, NO

CMAC's photos emailed to you

Josh;

DVM will work, too for checking the TPS.

JNutter;

I won't be riding the dyno either. I'll need lots of company in the parking lot.

I'll just bring all my electroinic gidgits and gadgets. My O-scope, my DVOM, my probing box, and anything else I can think of. I love my electronic toys.

Josh

Sounds good Josh.

I don't think I will do any dyno-ing with my truck since it's a dually. Don't think it is worth it for the power that i'm running, and you have to take the duals off. Looks like there is going to be plenty there already anyway.

Hi Guys,

I have a question about running my truck on the dyno. My truck does not have a tach or a tach hook up on it. Will I still be able to run the rollers? I hope so as I just put a HX 35 with a ported 18cm housing on my truck and I really want to see what #'s it will pull. I can hit 32PSI really fast and it seems to pull alot harder than the stock setup but I want to know the # vs seat of the pants ( I am hoping for 200 rwhp).

I plan on calling the dyno shop tomorrow and ask them myself but I thought someone here could answer my question before then. You have no idea how much I am looking forward to this Saturday:D

Thanks again in advance to everyone who has helped set this up!

Kurt.

I sure hope I can get some decent pictures at this event. . It will be very easy to make them all availiable to who ever shows up and wants them sent to them. . The pictures at the last event at Josh's were just basic pictures from A distance just to give an idea of what went on. . For privacy reasons I try to be careful not to get lisciense plates visable in the photos. . Well , I hope to see you all again on Saturday. .

Hey guys.

Looks like I will make it to this one. Don't know whether I'll run on the dyno we'll see how it goes for time. I just recieved the KDP jig this week and I don't need to send it out till Monday or Tuesday. So if you know anyone who needs to use it I will have it along.

Definitely bring it to the show. I think Kurt (Smokin 90) is still wanting to kill his pin.

Did you get your power issues cleared up? I'll be working on similar problems Denny's truck and could slip yours in, too.

Bramage,

It would be great if you could bring the jig, I would love to KILL my dowel pin. Some people on the 1st gen side have said that the 2nd gen KDP jig won't work on trucks like mine but I know that GTX-Joel had his done at the last BOMB party and he hasn't had any problems. While we are killing the pin would it be possible to adjust my pump timing as well? I have not advanced it yet and after installing the HX 35 I can't wait to see what bumping the timing does:D. Let me know if there are any tools or anything else I need to bring.

Looking forward to meeting everyone,

Kurt (smokin 90 )

Very easy procedure once you know how to do the job.

I'll be in the lot working on a couple other trucks and can give instructions on using the jig if you want to do your own trucks.

Does anyone object to me Video tapeing this event??? I'm one of those types that never leaves the house without A camera. . I usually take pictures and or video at every party or event I go to no matter what it is. . And I could make copies availiable at cost for interested members. . Let me know if anyones interested. .

Casey

I will bring the jig hopefully there will be time for all. I am trying to do mine tommorow, any tips? It seems really simple.

[JohnE: EGT's still low and not enough power for a #11 all the way forward with a stock exhuast housing. I do have 4 inch and a K&N but I don't think that is why my Egt's are so low. I don't think I'm fueling enough because smoke is relatively low also. Bottom line I'm no closer to an answer then when I posted. If you have time to take a look that would be great. ]

See you all Sat.

Hey guys,

Would anyone object if I would not bring my truck since i'm not going on the rollers? Would be easier to ride with my bro' up there. Josh, let me know if you bring those electronic tools. I do have a Blue-Point DVOM of my own, so I could check the voltages too. John and Jr. , can this jig be rented out if I would want to do it? What time is this event starting out?
