Who's got a barn?

Denver, FP guage I can borrow

Casey,

I don't think anyone will mind if you want shoot some video of the event. I think it sounds like a cool idea and would be interested in buying a copy.

Bill

The Event starts at 10. I will bring my electrical tools if you want to take a look at your TPS or anyother sensor for that matter. I plan on bringing a... . really old... . video type camcorder to run in the dyno area. Anyone that wants to take pics is more than welcome from what I have seen. Anyone that doesn't like it can voice their opinion and we can choose the approprate action.

Josh

Well I am going to make it, would like to just meet some of the guys from this sight. I don't need to Dyno my truck, but would like to take some pics of some of the other guys trucks if thats OK. Plus I will have have my 3 boys with and have a party to go to that night. See ya all in the morn.

Heading out after work and bunking at SMorneau's tonight. (I was planning to drive down in the morning. ) That means we will be there early to get started on work projects.

Bramage;

If you don't get to the KDP today we can fit it in tomorrow. I'm bringing a pretty good assortment of tooling.

Trevor;

No problem on riding with your brother.

We cna always use one of the other 12 valvers to go over any procedures for your truck issues.

Contact Cooker and get on the jig list. You can host a party down in your area, too.

Camera and video's always welcomed by me. I may snag the digital from work, too.

See everyone tomorrow.

-John

John,

Thanks for replying. We will probably be there around 10:00. I guess i'm driving up tomorrow morning and meeting my brother instead of staying at his place. Probably leave around 6:00-6:30 in the morning. Yeah I think I would rather do a little studying and observing from you guys. I will probably just bring my digital camera with.

So whats the overall plan or layout for the day. Dyno all day? Run till were done?

Trever

The plan is... Dyno till everyone has their fill. When we are done with that, we can head to my place, which is less than 5 miles away, BBQ and chat till people want to take off. I have room if people want to stay at my place if it gets late. If you'd like beer, feel free to bring it. I have 10lbs hamburger, and 24 brats to cook up on the grill.

Josh

The Killer has been killer!! Did it this afternoon. It was very simple. No movement of pin, which was a relief. I'm planning to be at HiTech before ten, FYI to those who want to use it.

Jr.

Can someone tell me where this place is? I've figured it's in Spring Lake Park and starting at 10 a. m. , but can't see what the name of the place is or how to get there.

Thanks,

Brian

Well , I want to thank Josh , and all the nice people that I met today for making this A great event. . I hope to see you all at the next one. . Later Casey

I just want to say thanks to Josh and to all of those who attended for making it a fun day. My wife and I had a good time and it was nice to put faces to names and meet everyone. I look forward to next spring when we can do it again.

BRamage and John E, Thanks for the help with my KDP, I am glad we caught it before it came out anymore than it has.

Best regards,

Kurt.

Good Times!

I also want to thank Josh. Had a real good time, got to meet a lot of good people, see a lot of nice trucks, learn some good tech info, and got to learn to never to spend my money on a Banks Powerpack. :D :p I knew that one anyway. :-laf:-laf

ChillyDog,

Was that your truck with the stacks? If so, was it hard to put them on and was it a kit or custom? Really loved the look of them.

Casey,

I may have been mistaking you for a different person today. Were you the one with the red shirt and the TDR hat? I think I mistakingly referred the name CMAC as SpicyJam to another person. Maybe you overheard the comment.

Anyways, you all were great people. When and where is the next event? :D Maybe I can actually bring my truck then. :-laf

Trever

Thanks Everyone

I want to thank everyone for comming down and making this a great event. We ended up having 17 trucks run on the Dyno, a killer dowel pin or 2 taken care of, a set or 2 of GSK's put in, and lots of smoke! :D Oo. The high horse numbers were set by the Duramax guys. The true test of an engine as we all know is Torque..... where the Dodges excelled. diesel tim's truck had enough to smoke the tires off the rollers with 7 people in the bed! :--) :--) :--) I will be posting the final results for everyone tomorrow. I'm also looking for any suggestions for a future gathering. Right now I'm going to try and talk to BIR for something in the spring/summer.

Josh

Hey Josh,

If there is anything I can help with for a event at BIR in the spring just let me know, I must drive by the place at least 6 times everyday. They have open drag racing on wendsday nights in the summer ( ALOT of people show up!! ) and they have several show and go events on the weekends as well.

Anything I can do to help out:)

Kurt.

How many horses were the Duramax guys making after they stopped swapping power programmers with each other? ;) :-laf

Josh,

Clue me in as to what is BIR. Very interested!

Oh, how do I get on the KDP jig list? Is it Cooker that I contact?

Thanks again,

Trever

OK friends I just E-mailed the pictures to John so he can put them on the web site. . Yes Trever I am the clown you seen in A red shirt today ... It was nice to meet you and all the other people today. . Right now i'm watching the video I took today , it didn't turn out too bad... Thinking back to earlyer today , I wish I would have gotten more pictures . . Just had A hell of A good laugh hearing Scott ask the Chevy guys about possibly haveing A "horse power per cylinder graff". . LOL Later Casey

I had a great time today. It was good to meet you guys. Thanks for putting it together Josh. I'd spend hours if I tried to write down all the cool stuff I saw. It was a good way to spend the day. I learned a lot.

Had a blast, even though I didn't get to stay the whole day. Kids ya know, but at least the wife and I got to go out and get lit up that night. My boy really enjoyed the ride he got in Arons in truck, on the way home all he did was comment on the smoke it creates. I am looking forward to the next time, oh ya remember Josh, I will remind you again when we have our pull in Osceola. Would be great to see some more CTDs out there. Until next time, take care guys.

Oo.

I had a great time yesterday. My numbers came in right where I thought they would and I met one heck of a bunch of nice people.

It was especially fun having the Chevys and Fords there. The DMaxs made a good showing with hp numbers and some decent torque numbers as well. The arm load of computers and wiring harnesses they Bombed with made me happy I have a 12V :) . Guess I'm just a dinosaur :( . I want to follow these trucks closely to see if the reliability and life expectency of the BOMBed trucks justifies the cost. Maybe I'll have to buy one someday.

My two PSD friends were a little dissapointed. Dave was especially dissapointed with his Banks setup. Of course I wanted to have higher numbers than them;) , but it no fun to watch people get dissapointed either.

The funniest thing of the day was the owner partner (I am sorry as many of you know, I am terrible with names) and the guy running the trucks on the dyno. When we first arrived the partner was explaining that he selected a power stroke because he needed a "big engine". I just nodded. When I ran on the dyno, I was the second truck and the first Dodge to run, the operator told me it was best to use the highest gear. He wanted to know if it would be ok in 6th gear. He was worried he might break something. I said, I beat it a lot harder on the street than the 4000lb rollers are ever going to; get it at about 1,200 RPM and put it on the floor until it hit about 3,000RPM. Meanwhile the owner was running to get a waiver form for me to sign. I signed the waiver and told him to worry about his dyno ;) . When the run produced 780 ft-lbs the "big engine partner" said, "well no wonder, you've got 38 lbs of boost". I said, "yeah, not bad for a little engine with 260,000 miles on it". By the time he saw the 950 ft-lb dodge burning the tires on the rollers he was already changed forever:D :D He couldn't believe we ran these trucks like this everday on the street.

Josh, Thanks Man! I know you put a lot of effort into this and I had a blast.
