Ideas for a MN Charity Dyno Day

North Dakota Chapter Meeting

When: Saturday October 21st, Starting at 9am.

This is a First come first serve event! Things have worked out in the past where people have swapped in the order. That can be worked out the day of.

Price: $50 a truck for 2 runs back to back. These are clean runs. Brian is the pilot and has done a great job in the past getting consistant numbers. We have also worked with him and learned how to spool larger chargers and twins. He may still need a little "work" on those, but he's willing to try.

Where: Hi Tech Motorsports. This will be the LAST event at this location! They will be moving to a new location the following weekend!

13915 Radium St is the address.

#ad

Again I will bring a Grill and charcoal. In years past Bart, Brian and the boys have ordered Pizza, but I wouldn't base my lunch on it. If you'd like to bring something to grill. It will be there.

Dually trucks, You must remove the outside Dual. Not a huge deal, there will be tools available to do so.

If you have a Duramax buddy or a PowerStroke fan that wants to see if they can walk the walk... . have them come too.

Any other questions feel free to ask!

Josh

I don't think the tractor will fit into the dyno room... it's to tall...

The garden tractor... I don't think is wide enough to fit on the rack...

Although they would be fun to see!

so your telling my i have to take of my cage to fit it in... ... ... but what if it rolls over on the dyno? sombody could get hurt. as for the lawntractor it has a stance just inside the sunbird... ..... dished rims are good! but i dought the dyno would read at 17mph so bummer for that.

Just straddle one roller for the lawn tractor.

I hope their new location will have a different setup for the Dyno, its kinda lame the way you have to back in on a lift, then get on the dyno, hopefully next year they will have more room!!!

There is a guy at the local dealership with an 05 CTD that is lifted probably 10-12" with big *** tires, I would like to invite him, but I know he wont fit on the dyno. Might beable to get him to at least show up maybe to bs, his truck is HUGE!

Anyway, looking forward to another day at HT. Hey Spicy, you should bring some goodies with, who knows, maybe some of us will have holes in our pockets and money falling out they just must spend on go fast goodies! :-laf hint hint! Then, try them out on the dyno! :D

Just what I want to do is finace a bunch of toys, and get them all back when you are done playing. Later Jim.

I think they want to buy stuff off ya. Toys are hard to resist purchasing when they are right there! :) BTW if guys want AMSOIL I can save you shipping by trucking it down to the meet.

Chuck I still have 5 test kits left... ... ... if you want one Jason I can bring it, I am sure Chuck would not mind. Later Jim.

Hey Jim! Remember all that work I had done to the truck not too long ago? Well, guess what? Truck is down with a blown head gasket. I only put about 1100 miles on it since the work was done. I retorqued twice, once to 90 then to 125. I took it real easy on the truck too, never boosted over 45psi. If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all. And, in the heat of my anger, I called Dave Smith and bought a brand new '06. When the Blue Ghost is rolling again, it's going to MN to sit at my dads.

Jim, DD was right on, I didnt want to borrow stuff, I ment I might buy stuff if its there. If you dangle candy infront of a little kid, eventually they beg for it... are you now getting what I am talking about. Then since they have new toys, they can sell thier used ones, and with all sorts of boys in need of bigger toys are all standing around, they can make reason with the "boss" why its a good idea? this whole thing making sense to you yet? :-laf

So if I dangle a turbo in front of you and a new down pipe, ATS maniflods, all for a few grand, I can count on you to buy? Sweet I am all over that, maybe a HRVP as a kicker for another grand plus... ... ... ... lol, Matt you are dealers best friend.

Although I know what you meant... ... ... just that I am buying in process of buying a home and have a lot of cash wrapped up in some other peoples projects right now. That is why I would rather know what you want to buy, instead of guessing... ... ... ... so sorry I will be empty, I just want to shoot the crap and meet some new people... ... ... ... . last time I was under the hood of my truck and missed a lot of what was going on.

I have conditioned my self to resist the candy. It's easy when you do not have any money :)

Andy,

By the looks of your signature, you don't need any more candy... but I guess a little more never hurt. :) I gotta get on the rollers. I'll have to get a lock up switch installed, It'd be nice to get the water hooked up, but I know it'll never happen as I'm way too busy at the shop. How's the silver bullet working out? How's the haze compared to the 64? Spool up? Asking because I need new candy, the same old thing is getting tiring.
