Ideas for a MN Charity Dyno Day

North Dakota Chapter Meeting

Yeah, I knew what you were talking about... . fat kid. As long as we're talking candy, maybe somebody could bring some eye candy. ;)

count me in!

new tires, new clutch, new lift pump new ez, hopfully I'll have my rail pressure and fuel pressure guages this week (with windshield mount)... .

I want to for sure. Unless something unexpected comes up I'm planning on coming and spinning the rollers for sure. It's been a long time since I've gotten to bs with you guys.

Josh, my friend Kevin (guy from fishing trip) is going to bring his D-max and his trailer queen drag race GTO. He wants to put the Goat on the dyno. I think the guys would enjoy that gasser show. Oo.

He says that he would dyno the D-max but he is worried about smoking his Allison.

Well 2 things... .

The Goat will have to be the last run of the day... . after all this is a Diesel day...

Second... The Allison should be fine on the dyno... they are only 4000lbs rollers. It's far less than beating the truck on the highway.

Josh- we'll be out to run the new cheap truck- do you think anyone would want to see what a stock Liberty CRD would do?

Well it depends on who runs, as to my prediction.

I think if the Fat Kid hops on, he'll probably have it.

If he doesn't... .

Possibly CumminsAHolic... . Maybe Grant from Cummins Forum, if he's all back together and broke in... . Umm... I know there are other guys out there that have been busy, that I don't know about... .

What is everyone's guess as to what they will put down?

JP

Dyno question. you mention that the rollers are 4000#.

Are there independent rollers at 4000#'s each?

or one roller (2 contacts for the tires) with a weight of 4000#?

I know I don't have as much as chilly, the fat kid or jim, but I'm hoping for a 500 plus number. It'll be #2 only, there's no way I can have the water hooked up by then. What's this goat? What's it run? I'd bring the dart if I thought there'd be time at the end to spin the rollers.

Hey what about Chilly? hes got more fuel and air than I.

True... but last I heard he was limping along on a weak clutch!

I believe that is the total weight of the rollers.

Yes Stacks are just fine... . Chilly, Alpha, as well as others have Dyno'ed and not had a problem.

JP

I plan to attend the dyno day, and participate as well. That is assuming you Minnesota boys let this North Dakotan in on the fun! Hopefully put down something near or past the 700 zone(if everything hangs together!)

See everyone later this month
