Ideas for a MN Charity Dyno Day

North Dakota Chapter Meeting

Ya, I am going to sneak away to the car wash tonight, although I have not drove my truck all week it is still a mess, the car I am driving looks like what you are describing, it leaves mud puddles where ever I stop... ... ... . funny how one freshly gravel road makes such a mess when it rains. See ya tomorrow, Jim.

Jim,

8 at Pottings sounds good, i'll be the one with the very dirty 'dirt road mud brown over black' paint scheme, unless I get a chance to clean it, then it'l just be the black dually. Thanks,

Matt

Anybody got Duluth Diesels Phone number? Is so mail it to me I want to see if I can get him to bring my some Amsoil products. Although, it may be kind of late to ask now. I thought I PM'ed him earlier this week but apparently I did not send it.

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

PM sent Scott.

He hasn't been around the computer this week. Give him a jingle. I know for a fact that he's going to pick up some stuff this afternoon.

This is a long shot I know but if anyone's got a used DiPricol fuel pressure gauge on hand they would like to part with, bring it along tomorrow. My gauge is stuck at 11.

Hey guys... . what the heck happened to the third gen guy challenging for best burnouts???????? I know dang well there wasnt anything resembling a 3rd gen amongst our smoke last night! Its sad that a local cant hold up a challenge when someone like me 4 hours from home with no tools or spare will repave a parking lot! Can anybody say slinkyyyyyyyyyyy??????LOL

Anyways... had a great time at the meet and meeting some new faces. Ill do some more stuff this winter and hit the rollers next time! Sorry I ditched out on Wild Wings after Jim got us lost but its probably best that I did because I rolled in at home at 10 pm and shut the truck off and fell asleep in it! BRRRR!! 2 days with no sleep, 1350 miles, and too much beer and sex has really kicked my butt! However I would do it again in a minute!!!

Mind you I repealed my burn out contest due to the fact that I can't afford new tires for a few months and this crappy nitto's need to hold up. But I would of been a judge if others would of! :)

Second of all. I think I was the highest HP 3rd gen at 460hp 861 ft-lb. If I recall 5 or 6 3rd gens in the parking lot (4 only dynoed maybe?) in the mix of 25 2nd gens. And like 5 or 6 non-dodges.

Josh, on you list you got most everyone's truck year correct?

Large Fan intfron of dyno...

The one std cab duramax was complaining about intake temps a bit high. Well naturally since there's no air moving though the inner cooler short of what the fan can do (not all that much... )

I don't monitor that anymore, it's always been about 10-14 above ambient temperature.

What kinda HP gain could of there been if us with easy to spool turbo's had cooler intake charges?

Also, It was a blast. Tons of trucks. Maybe a month earlier next year? :)

I have some of the years. Not really that many, so I didn't include it in the above numbers.

How about not. This was THE biggist turnout to a Dyno Event in MN, EVER. We will keep this weekend as the annual weekend. We have changed the dates around in years past to try and find a weekend that works well for everyone. We've found it.

It was fun but Josh not the biggest, I counted 110 at Elk River. But as far as Hitech biggest we have had there. I had a blast.

BTW Jason, next year I will bring a 700hp 3rd gen so you can hang your head in shame... ... ... ... 460 in a 3rd ain't nothing anymore... ... so don't get to excitied.

I had a lot of fun, even though I had to bail for a couple hours. I'm just glad I hit the 500+ # and even happier of the 1000 +. Next time I'll be shooting for 550 to 600... we'll see. It was fun to see everybody again and bs for a bit. Chris, I think Jim just wanted to give me a taste of what it's like to try to follow him out to indy. He wasn't lost   ;) .

Jason, if you ever go by that area drive around back and look at the marks. You missed out on quite a show. It was kinda tricky having to watch the trailer behind me when I was sideways to make sure I didn't take out anything else. The GTO... SWEET I love the smell of race gas. Next time I'll bring the dart.

ohh I know 460 isn't much in a 3rd gen. I'm more surprised that I was the high one. mostly due to the fact that only a hand full of 3rd gens were there (and less dynoed).

My trucks at the stage that if you do turbo, injectors, cp3, you have to do them all, or I'll probably get greedy and break something big with out the other supporting parts. So unfortunately unless I get a raise, or the GF gets a better job (or both) 460 will be the number I'll be at for a while. :(

Corey, Me and paul left when there were just a few people left. Never figured there would be a show :) that sucks.
