Ya know Andy..... I was thinking along those lines the day of the Dyno. Total up the HP and make it $1 per HP or something... . Well... that would get spendy... . $5 per 100hp would still be up there... This year total... 11253hp rolled across that dyno.

Anyone else have any ideas? Make it a "graduated" scale on a per truck basis? $10 per 100hp under 300hp, $5 over 300hp?

JP

And all this cash goes to the charity of the truck owner that made the least HP so that it can have a chance next year? :)

J/K tho. That's a cool idea.

AT 11,253HP total. and $5 per 100hp. that's like $562. that's a nice chunk. I can for sure spare $20 for my run, and if your running on the dyno and complaining about cash, you have some serious issues.

Any ideas for which charity or charities?

Well that would be discussed as well Jason. The Charity of Get Josh's truck on the road would be nice... . although probably not a good one...

If we went with lets say St Judes... . we could possibly get some Radio coverage. If we did that we would have to do a pre-registration I suspect. Limit it at 30 trucks or something.

The $5 per 100hp would be cool, but I don't think everyone that Dyno's could afford the $560 each to donate... although if there was a pledge system... .

Humm... . Ideas Ideas ideas... . Lets start another post on this guys... See what other ideas roll in and keep this post as the Dyno Day Events.

In the event of something like we did at Daves, we would need to talk with Brian and Bart. The extra money could come from a 60. 00 charge for the 2 pulls, and Hitech really getting 45. 00 for thier time making the donations per truck 15. 00 a truck. If we also did door prizes and bought tickets like we did before we can give even more. I believe we had 4 ticket boards and it was 5 to 10. 00 for the item depending on what was up for grabs. I would be willing to throw a few things in, and can get the tip boards... ... like I don't gamble or anything... ... ... . lol. Later Jim.

It all becomes a tax break for us folk. Last prizes were a Edge EZ we had cup smoothies, hats, a new grill, t-shirts, and I think some gift certificates. We could get some of those from local business around here. I am actually pretty good at rounding up some things and asking since I did it for our RC club when we raced and still do it for the snowmobile club. Let me know what the dates are, not 2 weeks before the event. Also with the dyno in the floor, we should be able to get 4 trucks an hour done.

josh i think you took the 5$ for 100hp wrong. ill use my truck for example 570hp=$25-$30 get it now? so jasons 460 would be $20-25. depends if one wants to round up. but yes we need to do a charity dynoday.

Exactly, the total amount (from all trucks dynoed) to charity would be about $550 or something.

If I could donate $560 per year, hehe, I would already be in the 700hp range :)

Hmm, not a bad idea, especially if the money goes to the Twin Port Sales Chuck Needs More Toys charity.

;)
