MNTDR BOMB and BBQ

Well guys... after trying to set some things up for a dealership dyno day... . and it falling appart... I feel like We are behind with a get together. So... before Diesel Thunder at IRP... . Lets get together... have a BOMB and BBQ at my place. We can talk about who is going to IRP, when they are leaving and where they are staying. I know it's comming up fast... but it's what we can do before IRP!



Date: June 11th

Time: 10am till..... whenever... . I have a bonfire pit in the back yard we can surely use it.

I will get charcoal, anyone that wants to bring something to grill... . We'll crank it up for ya!



I also have a TV and will move both a VCR and a DVD player out to the garage for anyone that wants to throw in a video or bring videos to share.



Directions are easy... . take HWY 10 to Ramsey Blvd (located approx half way between Elk River and Anoka) At that intersection go North, you will be turning towards Holiday and Burger King. Go Straight down Ramsey BLVD, you will hit a stop sign. Go through that stop sign. On your right about 200 yards down you will see a gas station. Go past their second entrance and you will see a right turn lane for 151st. Take that right. Go down 2 streets to Kamacite, take a right. Take your first immediate left onto 150th. The 3rd house on the right is mine. Park anywhere in the yard but not on my septic system. (mound system, it's the only "Hill" in my yard)

Any BOMB's you want to order and install..... let's Get'r'done!

Hay Josh sounds like what I've been looken for , I want to check and see about my KDP , should have 4" exhaust by then maybe BHAF ??? I'll bring a injector popoff tester, compression gauge and some basics.

I'd love to move the weekend..... but with my new work schedule... . I can't. It'll be THIS weekend if we try to move it.



I do apologize for the short notice. I'd like to let you guys know a bit faster. Right now... once I officially start my new job, I'm going to find out exactly when I work and that sort of thing, then I will figure out July, Aug, and Sept, Oct, and Nov.



What shall we do July, Aug... and Sept? We can do more BOMB and BBQ.....

Give me some ideas... . maybe a track day?

I'm thinking Oct will be The 3rd annual Dyno Day at Hi-Tech...

November..... starting to get cold..... shall we go play at one of the indoor go-kart tracks?

josh, indoor go-cart racing sounds like the bomb baby for the winter months get togethers!





as far as moving the weekend, I guess I will just have to grab the next available day.





I had an idea, but have to ok it with the wifey, I have 9 acres, with a large 2-3 acre field in front... . I am sure we could do a get together here (lakeville) and BBQ and BS. Maybe some wrenching if you like, but I am very limited on tools and the like. But still, maybe in a month or two we could do a get together here, like maybe a Saturday Morning, and then all that want to go, could head on down to Elko Speedway for a nite watching the locals race a few laps. Maybe a Night where the team I am on races, that would be sweeeeeeet!

I will be able to make it out for a few hours, but then I have to go give "moral support" to a friend whose wife is having a baby shower. Meaning, I have to go drink beer with him instead!



Too bad the home brews won't be ready until the following weekend. They are turning out to be mighty tastey!



Also, it doesn't look like Indy will be in my immediate future... Tammy and I decided we want to do an Alaska trip this summer, and I don't have the funds nor vacation time to do both. Bummer.

I haven't met any of you guys yet, and have a commitment for that afternoon, but might be able to swing up there late in the afternoon. No bombs to install at the moment, but meeting up with you guys would be great. I'll do my best to be there later in the day. Anything special I should bring along??

You shouldn't really need to bring anything to special... Just you! I have brought home some tools... if I need more... My new work is only a 3 mile round trip away... so I can get whatever I need... as long as they are open. Once we establish what we want to tackle that day... If I don't have it at home... I can run get it.
